The deal is usually done after the medical. Either we''re worried he may have a problem that we want to check out before committing to the transfer or he''s playing for time for a better offer.

like it or not worthy will be manager this season. first people complain about the lack of signings, then when it looks like someone will be coming to fill a position which we have been lacking for years negativeposts pop up stating that he will not join. Why not wait and see what comes of it and if he chooses not then start a thread about possible reasons for this. why would croft come for a medical if he wasn''t interested?

 some people''s hate of the manager is doing more damage to the club than worthy himself. If we are going to stand any chance this season the fans must be united behind the club and everyone within it. Why do you think teams have a better home record than away? the pitch is the same its whats around it that counts. the way things are we may as well play all of them away. if this hate campagne continues, yes worthy will be gone so will the parachute payments leaving the new manager with little or nothing to spend, cant see what talent we have sticking around either.

They state it because many people expect us to be gazumped by Birmingham, that is their view and they want to express it.  I for one feel if Birmingham are interested (which I would gather Lee Croft''s agent is probably sounding out now) I don''t fancy our chances as they will be able to offer big wages.  Lets hope they are looking elsewhere.

Unfortunalty the damage was done last season - with strange decisions from the manager up to and including the last match.  And then the manager decided to have a go at his detractors... On the back of a poor home defeat.  Many will never forgive him. 

In many fans opinion, Worthy being in charge will ruin next season, and the parachute paments will be gone leaving Worthy or a new manager with little or nothing to spend, cant see what talent we have sticking around either.

I totally agree, i want worthy gone. what happend last season was a total joke and i think he''s long overstayed his welcome BUT the board have made there choice and that will stand.

Yeah things didn''t go as planned in the prem and we all know about last season but i think we are stuck with him so why not one last shot. come xmas im sure the board will make the right choice if needed. i also feel we all forget slightly quickly, just go back seven years.

I don''t have a problem with negative posts in general. However some people seem incapable of seeing anything positive in the club at the moment.

These are often the same people clambering for a right winger and when we try to sign one, then they turn around and say he will not come etc. Please Worthy is far from perfect, but he''s trying to find that player, so give him a break and me from this constant sniping for two minutes.
