NMTD 0 Posted April 21, 2004 From BBC Sport... "Wimbledon''s attempt to come out of administration has been shattered by the Inland Revenue. Creditors, owed £25m by the club, backed music entrepreneur Pete Winkelman''s takeover plan last month, but objections have since been raised. The Revenue is owed less than £1m by already relegated Wimbledon and will now take its case to the High Court. As a result of the action, the proposed transfer to the Milton Keynes consortium will be postponed."Surely this won''t affect us - will it?I can''t see them not being able to play their last 3 games which is the only way their record can be ''expunged'' from the league this season. It wouldn''t make any difference to promotion but would affect the title race - and what about at the other end of the table?
