What ever happenned to that young anglo-turkish lad?

Recommended Posts

I''m trying hard to remember his name but he''s very young and about 18 months ago people were saying how huge he was gonna be for us - he was the academy top scorer I believe.

Of course I realise that if he is still with us he would never get a game, being young and all, but it would be interesting to know what he is like now.

We have a great bunch of youngsters I think, if only they could get a game...

Asmat el ouargi. (i think yuou mean)

The only reason people were getting excited was because he was foreign, he was in the news because he was in an accident and to be frank he''s done next to nothing. He is anglo-danish

Asmat El Ouargui.

As far as I know hes still on the books, although his early city career

was blighted by a car accident in which he seriously damaged his

neck/spine. I think he was making good progress recovering from it

though.

Think you mean Asmat Al-Ouargui - Hes Danish. Had a bad car accident leaving Colney, started playing again at the back end of last season.

Has anybody actually seen him play? Is he any good? Probably dosn''t matter anyway because he wont be given a first team chance with Worthless at the helm....

he''s still at the club.. he suffered an injury that could of killed him had he been more unfortunate so he has come back well... if he has a future here or elsewhere then good luck to him.;... he has been given a 2nd chance in Life and i hope he makes the most of it...
