The Duke of Norfolk 0 Posted May 15, 2006 will snap up a Newell or Parkinson etc whilst the good ship Norwich sinks under captain Worthington.
Jimaldinho 0 Posted May 15, 2006 Just watching clubs moving on and little Norwich going no-where is so fustrating. I personally dont like managers being changed like half way through a season or after 10 or 12 games because what good manager are you going to be able to get at that stage? Just sack him now and make sure we get a good manager who will have all summer to bring in new ideas and his own players.
Getting off the fence 0 Posted May 16, 2006 Yet another manager who doesn''t know what he is doing. Got relegated and didn''t get promoted straight away. Where do they get these clowns from? Palace had an international striker - they should have come at least first - probably higher - it''s no wonder that they are getting rid of their manager. All you have to do is get a manager that has got promotion from league one and put them in charge and they will get you to the Premiership straight away, then stay up there, the next year Europe followed by the Champions League. All we need is a board with ambition...It''s all so easy - why won''t they listen to me?
Ken Aries 0 Posted May 16, 2006 Funny how Worthy is never linked with any of these jobs, isn''t it.
blahblahblah 2 Posted May 16, 2006
Funny how Worthy is never linked with any of these jobs, isn''t it.
As has no doubt been said many times in this forum, he isn''t linked to these jobs because he has a 12 month rolling contract.
ZLF 271 Posted May 16, 2006 Every other manager mentioned also has a contract - rolling or otherwise they are all as secure as each other and cost money to break them. At this stage of the season a 1 yr rolling contract is cheaper to compensate for than a 2/3 fixed contract...If he was good enough he would be in demand. If we had finished in their position (not gonna happen as we were miles behind them (and coventry)) we would have gotten stuffed by Watford if the league matches were anything to go by?? What is your point? You hail Worthy''s play-off finish as a Great season?? Therefore Dowie''s Palace has had a great season??Next

alex_ncfc 648 Posted May 16, 2006 I love coming on here to see posters such as GOTF and Blahblah-whatever sticking up for Worthy, clutching at any straws they can find. It''s more laughable than anything else.

Along the lines of - "getting promotion is easy, all the other relegated clubs did;" "get any league one or two promoted manager because he is young talent that will lead to inevitable promotion;" "the board lacks ambition becuase it won''t overexpose the club financially" (like we don''t know where that leads ....) blahblahblah 2 Posted May 16, 2006 It''s very easy to be unreasonable. At what point will you start being reasonable again ?When we get into the top 6 ?Top 2 ?When we get promoted ?I think it''s more likely that we will make the play-offs next season than Worthington leaving his job. We need a Manager 0 Posted May 16, 2006 Worthington will go before the end of next season , no manager hated by so many could survive . And however high up the table we are many people will never change their minds.

FOTF Pardew managed recently - ooh and Ferguson didn''t do too badly either a few years ago (their fans conveniently forgot what they had said before).
