The Duke of Norfolk 0 Posted May 17, 2006 We need a decent right back, a decent RIGHT sided midfielder, a big centre forward (yes we do), a QUALITY central midfielder with guile and creativity and another centre back.If we buy these players, provided they are of sufficient quality then our team should be good enough to challenge for automatic promotion. Now whether the board are ambitious enough to allow the resources to be given to the manager to bring in these players or whether the manager recognises that we need the above mentioned players is another thing. But it is simple really. We finished 9th last season with a crap right hand side, no big man up front and for the most part cloggers in midfield so if the quality can be added this summer to address these issues then we should be right up their next season. streakey 0 Posted May 17, 2006 You can have all the quality ingredients but if it is not mixed right and cooked at the correct temperature , like a cake it will not rise to the occassion.Worthless is a master of something , not a baker or coach comes to mind as we have all seen with his attempted efforts. apprentice 0 Posted May 18, 2006 None of the youngsters that have recently signed professional terms are left backs Rossi Jarvis can do a job there but not a naturally left footed player.
