The caller is in desperate need of some good P.R for the club following, in his words, ‘a disappointing season.’ Perceived problems with the club range from; (i) Inability to play football without resorting to hoofing it up in the air towards John Tracy in TB5(ii) A manager who has squandered transfer funds on sub standard players (iii) A manager who appears to watch different games to those being covered by the national press(iv) Fans cheering the away team at home(v) Fans jeering their own players(vi) A director unable to speak in public without spouting grossly ill-judged remarks about the fans(vii) The manager having a swipe at certain sections of support(viii) The botched assassination of one of the coaching staff in an attempt to deflect criticism away from the management(ix) The inability of the Board to manage this malaise(x) Seeing their great rivals properly addressing their own problem season Jeez, thinks Geoff, I’ve got a hot one here and he looks troubled. However all is not lost. As the new president of marketing he will be calling upon your skill sets to oversee this job for him. You have to recommend the following; Who from International Rescue handles this job The future of the manager The future of the director What the Board must do going forward to prevent this scenario happening again.
