PhatCanary 0 Posted May 11, 2006 A letter offering me and my son a season ticket landed on our doorstep this morning, after a long wait to get back to being a season ticket holder i now find myself with a dilemma, do i go ahead and pay the money and just ignore that we are a poor side with a manager who has lost the small amount of respect i ever had for him, or do i turn down the season ticket and send a letter of reasons to Delia and the board why i have turned my nose up at the club i love? I can''t see any big changes happening over the summer, and think that if i have to sit and watch another season of tripe like the one we''ve had to watch this season then my affections for this club will be damaged for ever...BUT What if i turn it down and they come to there senses at Carrow road and sack Worthless, do i pay and hope for change or stand up for what i believe and chuck it in the bin, fellow fans help me, what do i do??? Branston Pickle 4,149 Posted May 11, 2006 It is completely up to you - I renewed and will still go, as will (it seems) most other season ticket holders. Whether or not Worthy is manager, I''d have thought you''d want to go - otherwise why did you go on the waiting list while he was there at the helm? The season just finished was of course pretty dire, but do remember even if we keep Worthy this is the same bloke who we got promoted under only 24 months ago, so there is a possibility it will turn round even with him there; the alternative is that even this Board would surely bin him if we got off to a poor start, and then things could turn for the better that way. streakey 0 Posted May 11, 2006 Do nothing and see if they write again.Half season tickets are always available ,if we turn the corner purchase them then.If we are rubbish thats all a full season ticket will be worth to you.Just pick your matches in the early season , go and enjoy a few local matches Diss, Wroxham,Dereham ,Lowestoft and Kings Lynn .Thats what i do and it works for me .Dont let Worthington scare and scar your child !! Yellow Rages 0 Posted May 11, 2006 Phat, Renew! And remember your not renewing for the manager but for yourself. You want to go and watch football. Managers will come and go.If by not renewing the board would say"OK, no one is renewing we''ll sack Worthy" then fine. But thats not going to happen so do it for your own sake.Renew because you love the club and want to watch football.
Steve Mortlock 0 Posted May 12, 2006 I would accept the season ticket offer and pay the money for the following reasons; * We will improve with some quality summer signings* We will give Nigel Worthington due patience for him to try and turn it around* We will challenge for Championship honours next season, with a play off place at the very least. If the above does happen, your son will obviously be able to sit back and reap the benefits of being a season ticket holder. In additional he will be garanteed a renewal for a possible Premiership campaign. If it all goes pearshaped he can offer his season ticket to any of his mates at school who will a/ Think he is cool b/ give payment for ticket, which can go into his piggybank.Still cleverly keeping his foot in the door for when he does want to go. For me there is no choice to make. Buy the season ticket, go to every game and enjoy what will be a very fruitful campaign. Enjoy the summer, get your son geared up for a promotion season and see you at FCR next season. Keep the faithStev

whoareyou? 0 Posted May 12, 2006 Despite what others feel, i believe that if Worthy hasn''t turned it round by October, he will be gone and then we will have someone new. If he has turned it round then you will be watching a team near the top of the division. So how can you lose!!!??? lol
Trent Canary 0 Posted May 12, 2006 Surely you signed up to the waiting list when Worthington was in charge??
Ginja 43 Posted May 12, 2006 I signed up because I love the club. I didn''t do it for worthy, delia or the players, I did it for myself. It may not get better but I stick by the hope that it will get better with or without worthy. Who knows what could happen next season that is the magic of football
LinkNR9 0 Posted May 12, 2006 Grab the tickets. Wortington will be gone by Christmas, I feel; therefore, although this coming season will be a ''write-off'', the new manager will give us some hope and belief for the following season and we will - I''m sure - start to move in the right direction.
