Norwich News: Norwich will land the best transfers in the championship this summer by landing Lassana Diarra and Nuno Morais from chelsea on season''s loan. Also Neil Kilkenny will come in on a free from Brimingham on a free. The biggest deal will be netting Liam Lawrence from Sunderland for £1.5 Million quid. Close to the club, SC!

Hay, This is the first time I have posted here but I thought i''d give it a go. Anyway, my boyfriend came back from his work and he told me a transfer about Norwich (As we are big fans). He said that Michael Chopra will be brought for £750,000 and also a player called Greg Halfort for £900,000. I hope this has shed some light of norwich. Cheers!

Sorry didn''t put on earlier post couldn''t believe more than one Norwich related post on the same day.  Never heard of half of the above players.  But Worthy and foreigners not a good record, especially Portuguese (I am guessing nationality of Nuno and his mate).

What is wrong with Worthy''s track record with foreigners in particular - Svensson was great, as was Helveg - I thought Jonson had potential and I also think that Johansson and Safri are very useful additions to the team. What are you talking about?

I agree with McDougall, Svenson was good, Safri still is. I thought Helveg was a good addition to the team aswell. I''ve heard of Kilkenny before but he''s only a bench warmer or reserve player at best, he''d be no use to us (Actually he''d be no use to us, so worthy may probably target him). I believe Dairra and Morias are chelsea players but thats all i know about them. If they''re chelsea player there wages would be though the roof.

There''s a lot of opportuinities for Worthy to waste a lot of money there!

Diarra is very highly rated, the new makelele has someone said and would be great. I know nothing about morais. Kilkenny is a centre midfielder and imo would be a good signing on a free. I would love to see us sign Lawrence, he''s been sunderlands best player this year and would be the right sided player we need. Halford is continuously linked and would be a bargain at that price, he is very versatile which Nige likes. Chopra has potential, but i dont think he''s that tall and we dont need another player in that role. We need as targetman.

I have done research concerning lassana Diarra. The following is copied and pasted straight from Chelsea''s offical site.

The Paris-born 20 year-old was signed from French second division club Le Havre where he was named their Young Player of the Year in 2004. He specialises in performing the defensive midfield function that has become synonymous with Claude Makelele at Chelsea although there are differences. Lassana is left-footed and not shy to try his luck with the odd shot from distance.

I would have him. If we could get him on loan it would be fanastic for the team. Permanent would be even better, for me there is something bad about having players on loan from the premiership. It almost seems as if they are not as interested . However this guy sounds class. A makelele who can shoot from distance, my word. At the least Worthy, you could ask...
i really must take issue with this Helveg was great nonsense...on paper yes...but crab like lethargic passing to opposition forwards was his speciality
don''t start on Helveg, that was the biggest bout of mis management I have witnessed at carrow road.   The guy played the opening two games and in my "opinion" didn''t do anything that bad, Giggs would and does give most right backs a hard time and bear in mind this was his first ever game in any English league let alone the prem.   He was then dropped and we were subjected to weeks of Edworthy, not a bad championship player, but certainly didn''t play any better than Helveg and against weaker opposition.   Helveg eventually gets another crack, but this time out of position in midfield!!!   By now his international coach is causing ruptions and the pressure is building.   Helveg actually has 2 or 3 pretty decent games in the middle and that conicides with an upturn in our fortunes  (I think, memory already fading).  He played a few more games towards the end of the season in his preferred position and we were doing okay then.  Just imagine what would have happened if he had been given a decent 8 straight games at right back and not had all the pressure of his international coach etc.   To say his passing was awful is short sighted like the players he was trying to pass to.  Helveg was actually passing into the spaces players should have been moving into, but weren''t.  After a few games he realised this and started passing appropiately, still far better than the favoured Holt and the lazy Francis.

Anyway the biggest problem is that Helveg and Edworthy were both let go.  Okay Eddy wanted a better deal, but Helveg only left because of all the rubbish from his international coach about not getting games etc.  Imagine being Helveg and watching Eddy, Holt, Flemming and Charlton start before you!!!

We are then lumbered with Colin and.........who was that other guy, anyone seen him????

Neil Kilkenny would be an exellent signing for us especially on a free. He is an box to box centre mid who get forward whenever possible, could be just what we need in midfied.

My realistic wish list this sumer;

Paul Gallacher - new deal
Greg Halford - 900k
Neill Danns - Free
David Vaughan - 750k
Dean lewington - Free
Neil Kilkenny - Free
Keny Lunt - Free
Billy Jones - 1mill
Freddy Eastwood - 1mill
The youngsters - given a chance and some out on loan.

Oh and Mark Bowen as manager with Dave Williams first team coach.

Chris, First of all Eastwood is 6ft but agree he isnt a target man, however he is going to be a brilliant player who one d IMO will play for England. I also think that if we get a target man it will just encourage more of this hoofball nonsence that  is currently going on at Carrow Road.

PS Just heard Danny Shitthu has been transfer listed so you can add him to my list if we can get him for around 500k. Him and Shacks could be a very decent Championship defence.

A new management team is the first objective before we splash the cash .As we have seen Worthy can make a pigs ear out of a silk purse. We  most certainly dont want to be left with no cash and unsalable players in the mid season with someone like Harry Bassset  trying to wheel and deal a survival package and Worthy gone with a huge payoff.!
