In the last home game of the season all the players should have rated 8 to 9 just to prove a point. However as we have come to expect from the usual suspects they continuely show us they are as worthless as the man who purchased them. Will we be able to beat  any of the relegated clubs, playoff losers or promoted new boys next season ? Not with bunch of "CHOKERS" i`m afraid ,.it`s a tall order and we are short of quality in all areas especialy management.Wolves proved to have more bottle than us today.

Didnt think Hux was that great.

Dispossed all the time, didnt run at defenders enough and passing was poor.

I would say

Gallagher 7/10 not much to do

Colin 6/10 looked alright

Doherty 7/10 quite in control

Fleming 5/10 did nothing

Drury 7/10 Good tackles, doesnt overlap well enough

Hughes 0/10 What a joke - gets the ball and runs in various directions and eventually backwards or off the pitch and then gets tackled. Control is awful, passing is sh*te and cannot do anything. Worst football player i have ever seen in my whole life. (Also worthingons top summer target when we could have had anyone)

Robinson 6/10 OK, should be a squad player thouhg

Etuhu 6/10. Lazy, runs forward and could start an attack but just stops and plays it backwards or to huckerby who then runs into a defender and gets tackled

McVeigh 8/10 Actually moved into space and had some knowledge of playing football well.

Huckerby 5/10 Got tackled and misplaced passes. Cant cross it in because the strikers are all too small.

Earnie 7/10 tries hard, just plays for the wrong club

Gallagher - 7 - couldnt do much about the goals!

Colin - 4 - didnt seem to know what position he was playing. bye

Doherty - 7 -  Solid Performance

Fleming - 6 - Average

Drury - 7 - didnt do anything wrong lets just say that

Hughes - 4 - didnt get involved

Robinson - 7 - was actually really pleased with his performance......seemed to show that he cares a lot

Etuhu - 7 - got better as the game went on

Hucks - 6 - always seems to me, he gets the ball, runs past defenders then cuts back inside giving the defender a chance

Earnshaw - 7 - not to good against such big centre half (Lescott) but never stopped trying

Mcveigh - 6 - Quiet, but always wanted the ball. not to sure on his partnership with Earny

Subs

Mckenzie - 5 - didnt have enough time to get involved

Hendo - 6 - quick and threatening.......definate threat next year. work on crossing though

Gallacher 6 - some good saves but stayed on line for some crosses and committed himself too soon for the first goal making the chance easier than it should have been.

Colin 6 - nowhere near as bad as mentioned above - covered for both doc and flem on occassions and tracked runners, but did get sucked out of position too.

Doc 6 - good goal line clearance but got moved about too easily.

Flem  6 Some timely interceptions prevented a 5 as he was turned too easily too often;  good for cover for next season but no more.

Drury 6 Consistent as ever

Hux 7 - didnt get the ball enough but caused problems when he had it - final ball lacking too often.

Etuhu 8 first half 6 second - superb glimpse of what he could be - but disappeared and lacked influence in the second.

Robbo 6 - Wasted possession to often but a moe committed game all round.

Hughes 5 - Never have I seen a player put so many passes straight off the pitch without the ball bouncing when not under pressure.  Worked hard as ever but simply didnt offer enough quality.

WLY 5 not involved.

Earnie 6 Too lightweight and easily marshalled by lescott for most of the game.  Lost out on that and the battle with Murray in the second half too - almost too embarrassed to score thanks to comical wolves defending.

Hendo 6 - didnt add much

Leon 6 little impact.

A better than season average performance overall - unlucky to go in behind at half time but lacking any cutting edge up front; we lacked the guile to make the most of decent first half possession and our dominance disappeared in the second half as Etuhus influence shrunk.
