The Next Two Games Will Put Things Into Perspective

Recommended Posts

Two exceptional results and the momentum appears to be in top flight. Plymouth at present are a shambles having lost again heavily on Saturday and Luton's defence were deserving of their managers ire in the way that they conceded some if not all of the goals. All of that aside ten goals in two games is without question is a big step in the right direction and the confidence in the dressing room must be sky high.

Now two away games against teams struggling to escape from the relegation zone. Both have showed recent signs of improvement, both having lost just one of their last four games. No doubt they will be fighting for their lives. Certainly not to be taken for granted.  At present four clubs are sitting on 25 points ( 9th. to 12th. Millwall having a game in hand) with the Canaries ahead on goal differential, a benefit of the goal spree from the last two games. One hopes that the Canaries can come through the next two games against QPR and Portsmouth, with at least four points to maintain their position in the top half of the table, to set them up for a very positive end to the calender year.

Having recovered the desired momentum hopefully they will not falter. Not a question of being pessimistic, This is the reality of the Championship with very little differance in terms of the potential and the ability of the majority of clubs in the league.

I think we're back in the 'we'll out-score you' mode at present. Reminds me of a previous season.

It's fun to watch but against a more clinical (dare I say EPL team) we'll be undone pretty quickly. Indeed Luton could of so easily turned us over on Saturday!

Away games where home side need to be positive.  Qpr and Pompey should be bruhed aside given how free scoring we are.  Away wins expected here.  Need to be better than against Luton.

That's not really how the Championship works.
