Luton next..

Recommended Posts

Just had a look at their line up tonight vs Leeds (hopefully they will wear Luton out) not many recognisable names,  except Charlton Morris and Victor moses who will be against whoever we have at right back, he was always decent...

A few names on the bench though.

Luton’s body language suggests they are broken. If we can score first we should be able to kick on even more…but any long time canary will be thinking…along came Norwich

Bell, mengi, kaminski, Burke and Clarke all big names which either played well in premier league or got them up from Championship last season

marvellous nakamba decent and abebayo and Chong on the bench big performers

the only player missing tonight who would be a regular is doughty

they’ve got such a good squad but they’re not playing as a team at the minute

A definite hangover from premier league relegation, injuries but I do think Rob Edwards has lost the dressing room a bit and his days are numbered

Just hope they sack him AFTER Saturday, not before!

They won't rollover like Plymouth did but they ought to be fearing us more than them. Probably the nearest thing we have to a local derby which could spice it up a bit.

With Fisher available and hopefully Nunez too it will be interesting to see our starting XI. I wouldn't be surprised if we are unchanged.

Looking forward to our 'local derby' this Saturday....The Stadio de Carrow will be chocker as them Hatters will bring a crowd....

I think it'll be a close game but we'll edge it....Morris for them and Borja an' Crnac for us....

Hopefully, Fisher and Nunez back very soon. We are going to need all of the Squad for the Festive Period. Here's wishing Liam Gibbs a very speedy recovery. Liam and Sarge can push each other with their rehabilitation and fitness.

Luton bit of a bogey team for us over the years.  1958/59 Cup run then beating us in the Cup when they were non League and last season too with a Carlton Morris goal?  Can’t remember?

Yep - they’ve lost 5 away in a row, so you know what’s coming lol

I'd love to get them back for those two absolutely toxic games under Dean Smith when they got promoted.

They were everything we weren't in those games; front footed, aggressive and well coached against a team thinking they should be beating teams with ease. The 90th minute winner with 10 men. Also the one under Farke when Berry hugged the referee when he gave them a pen. Eurgh.

Since 2013 we have played Luton 6 times. We have won one of those matches and we lost the other 5.

They've only won once away this season and that was back in September. They are fragile at best at the moment and on paper it should be a home win. Their best bet is to be ultra physical and kick Sainz off the pitch.

Yes, but in 1959 we had a goal from Crossan wrongly disallowed so that doesn't count.

Bloody hope not, if Nunez is fit he has to start ahead of Sorensen

In an ideal world , yes agree , but could easily be Sorensen for 60 then Nunez for 30 + .  I agree fully fit Nunez superior,  but would I risk him if not 100%? Dunno.

Decisions  Decisions.

Thorup has pretty much said that he may get some game-time later in the match but he won't be risked and pitched straight back in......
