Grumpy 154 Posted November 26, 2024 Well that was about as good as you will get.Against a very poor Plymouth side everything clicked, players finding space to receive the ball, intelligent positioning and running. It really was a good performance. McLean at his best, making sure not to get a booking,Crnac having his best game to date and Saintz is just unstoppable at the moment.

Jim Smith 2,641 Posted November 26, 2024 Very enjoyable. Not perfect, we need to be less sloppy in our own half. But we are technically excellent and have the quality to open up anyone at this level. The movement and interplay is a joy at times. as someone else said I would start Slimane and Schwartau over Sorensen and Forson on Saturday. Very pleased for Crnac. Forson clearly needs gametime and confidence - if he took a back seat at this point, I think there's a considerable risk that he could fade into the background and struggle to get back in. Short-term Schwartau may be the better option, but i'm sure Thorup is seeking to build as many players up as possible.

If everyone is available then I would have Doyle at left back and Stacey at right but that is harsh on Fisher but I feel Stacey is a plus bombing on down the right. Petriix 3,249 Posted November 26, 2024 Man am I glad I didn't make it to the game tonight... Mrs Petriix sure picked the perfect night to buy tickets for a gig that unfortunately clashed with a home game. "Nevermind" I said, "we'll probably struggle against lowly Plymouth". In other news, Erland Cooper was excellent and almost worth missing a six goal rout for.
Capt. Pants 5,146 Posted November 26, 2024 A decent performance but let's be honest 6-1 flattered Plymouth. I don't think I've seen a worse team at FCR. Great night though, beer flowing, Crnac scores, what's not to like? Get to the play-offs with Sainz and we have a real chance.

We instantly looked better when Schwartau came on. I still think he will prove the best of the summer signings.
Mason 47 2,005 Posted November 27, 2024 (edited) Great show. Caveats as normal, we won't get away with as many turnovers against any decent side, but you play the team in front of you. Good performances all around- Marcondes, two assists and a hand in almost every other goal the pick of the bunch (aside from the obvious). Sainz on course for a mad season. Delighted for Crnac, happy that Forson is now looking less like a rabbit at a headlight convention. Onto Luton, who will surely be a sterner test- but do have a day less recovery than us, and a dreaded away/away week starting tomorrow night at Leeds. Big chance for another 3 points IMO Edited November 27, 2024 by Mason
Canary Wundaboy 1,424 Posted November 27, 2024 Great win, Marcondes looking like a tidy bit of business and Crnac with a great finish. Don’t need to mention Sainz, he’s shaping up to be more of a cheat code at this level than Buendia was.
LaUnionCanary 150 Posted November 27, 2024 Sainz has come on a big bundle this season. He was very good last season but is so much better this. JHT the reason?

Thing is though it geniinely should. Been going to carrow rd for 44 yrs and the most i've seen us score in a league game is 7.....this was the biggest chance I've ever seen for us to have bettered that . It really ,genuinely should have been 10 or 11 Plymouth incredibly poor and a performance warranting costing a manager his job
