A Message to Delaware

Don't be gullible Americans by letting Napper sweet-talk you into thinking he knows what he is doing in the transfer market. He doesn't. We had SVH last January followed by £13 million wasted on Forson and Auntie Curnatch, then the acquisition of the permanent treatment table duo of Cordoba and Slimane. If players are either too small or too light or fail to appear, it makes a complete mockery of putting so much emphasis on data-led player recruitment. It is a false prospectus.

Moreover, does Napper realise what he has unleashed on the pitch with this new coach? Having conceded two or more goals per game for six consecutive games is the worst defensive record outside the EPL since the days of Roeder- Jim Duffy. If Mr Norfolk thinks he is going to get to the EPL on this trajectory then he is living with cuckoos in the clouds.

Hopefully it will make people consider what they're letting themselves into when signing up here.

A pretty bland and generic rehash of previous trolling attempts; nothing new or even vaguely humorous here.

You must do better, Mince; you're generally one of the best trolls on here, but your crown is slipping.

The art of stupidity is trying the same thing over and over in the hope it will work better next time. Therefore it is obvious that the same criticisms will get repeated over and over. For how many years now have we seen Norwich get undone by bog standard balls into the box? For how many years now have we been letting in goals for fun? Do you think Italy won four World Cups adopting this approach?

There you go. I corrected it for you.

Brazil won five by prioritising possession and attack. I know who I'd rather watch.

Undermining players and staff by taking the **** out of their given names is the perfect vehicle for criticism, of course.

Brazil won the 1958 World Cup keeping a clean sheet through to the quarter final.

But they knew how to defend as well. It is notable they have won no World Cups since Dunga retired. Since then they let in seven against Germany on their own patch.

Probably not a good time to mention that Italy didn't get out of the group stages in 2010 and 2014, and haven't even qualified for the last two World Cups?

But they did win the Euros just a few years ago. When did England? Er, never....

To be fair, he (and yeah, it's definitely a he, isn't it) is still struggling for an angle since the departure of Delia and Michael. This new stuff is all a bit desperate and scattergun. But I have faith in him. Troll-form is temporary, troll-class is permanent. He'll be back.

Why is England relevant to this conversation? I thought we were comparing Italy and Brazil as stereotypes of defence-based and attack-based football?

Actually don't bother replying, I've had enough troll-baiting for now.

There's been a tangible change in quality in recent weeks, so much so I wondered if Big Vince had been outsourced to China

Look at you, retrospectively editing your posts when you've realised your argument doesn't stack up! Stay classy, Vincent.

100% . no part of my post disagrees with that.

Vinny makes a great pantomime villain. Waveney tries his best but he’s not quite in Vinny’s league.

On balance I think Vinny probably is a bloke but if he isn’t that puts him on another level of troll-ishness.

That would be insanity.

Yours pedantically,

It stacks up aplenty. Thirteen league goals conceded in six games and only two clean sheets out of sixteen. We've had no back four since Malky, Flem, Drury & Edworthy. Plus him with the lungs just in front.

I stand corrected. Maybe I'm insane and not just stupid then? Is that better?!

Virtual insanity

Insane in the brain.

I'll go with Insane

Might be generous to say it was the result of thinking.

I'm sure I read that Glen Riddersholm is coaching the defence. If it does'nt improve after the return of McClean and Nunez, which I feel it will, then questions will be asked I reckon.

The boy Riddersholm's favourite shop in Norwich is R E Thorn Ltd. I suggest he goes in and browses the sledgehammer section with a view to purchase.

Oh Vince... that's not it at all! Do you not know your Einstein?

And it applies more to you and another couple of posters than it does at the club that has seen an incredible amount of change recently.
