The best available is probably Graham Potter.

Think he turned them down pre Cooper. May be wrong.

Know a couple of Leicester fans. They reckon it's Ruud van Nistelrooy. But they're not 'in the know' or anything.

I think quite a few clubs were more than a bit interested when RVN was suddenly available and not subject to a contract anywhere.

A case of '...now we just need to get rid of our current pesky current manager first...how can we do that?'

Leicester. Lose to Chelsea. Right, that's the last straw, Cooper out....they'd have been in a run fix if they'd have won against Chelsea on Saturday.

Wolves are probably wondering if they can still sack O'Neill and make it look like a sensible decision. Ditto Palace/West Ham and their managers.

As for Cooper-well, he supposedly didn't even want to entertain talks with us back in the Spring, not the sort of club or level/job he was interested in.

But he'll have to start again at Championship level now-Coventry?

I've always rated Cooper very highly, but so often this season he has blamed a defeat on the officials, and I'm in agreement with the pundits who have said every time that he does not have a case. He was at it again after the Chelsea defeat on Saturday.

That was when he was still on the Chelsea payroll, so any job he took would've meant a massive pay cut from what Chelsea were paying him. I believe that agreement is now over, so expect him back in work sometime soon.

I guess this will appeal to Cooper as he doesn't need to move to take on this role (surely after Florist / Leicester he has a home in the midlands now?).

Seems a harsh sacking and I'd imagine it's because the replacement is half in the door like others have suggested.

Potter needs to be careful. He's allegedly turned down a few jobs now and people soon forget about you. Curbishley being the one I always think of who did that. Linked to all the jobs, didn't take them as he was holding out for something better which never came. Then just disappeared.

Would love to see robins go to Leicester and keep them up!

I have always thought he has a bit of a "missing link" look about him.

He's what I imagine a Morlock might look like. Shouldn't be lookist though I know, specially as I'm no oil painting myself (well, maybe a Francis Bacon).
