I hope the weather will be ok

Can't talk about that. Within just minutes my thread i made a few minutes ago about players training in cold weather was deleted.

Seriously does anyone know what's going on with this? It can't be a manual deletion? Is there some kind of automatic deletion of threads about weather or something? Why would a thread about player training be deleted?

Apparently on the Scrimmage they said that Angus is back. Thankfully.

Is McLeans ban over yet? Onel Is also back given he played a full 90 and scored for the Cubans a few days back

Hopefully with Slimane being fit and Gunn being back we can start to look a bit more solid.

If we're still missing Nunez and Kenny though I'd be tempted to look at a switch to a back 3 formation to try and help our structure.

A back three of Cordoba, Doyle and Duffy with Stacey and Chrisene as wingbacks, maybe a shift of Fisher into central midfield next to Slimane with Sainz and Marcondes supporting Crnac.

West Bromwich looks like quite a poor breeding ground for musicians:

Al Atkins, original vocalist for Judas Priest but left in 1973 before they got famous;

KK Downing, also Judas Priest, not original guitarist but played with them for many years;

Ian Hill, bass player, joined Judas Priest in 1970 and is still with them;

Phil Lynott, legendary Thin Lizzy singer and bass player.

Apart from that, Ivor Slaney, composer of radio, film and TV music.

Isn't the Hawthorns the highest stadium in England?....I recall (quite a few years ago now) we were to play the Baggies in a terrestrial televised game at the Hawthorns (a Sunday fixture)? It was called off on the day, due to a thick covering of snow on the pitch....and the majority of England was as clear as a bell....

Anyway, let's hope we can get a result there and the weather doesn't cause any probs to those support who are travelling to the Black Country....Oh it's now snowing in the City....

It won't be snowing on Saturday. 13 degrees C!

Another loss and results elsewhere go against us we could drop to 18th.

It's not a huge issue at the moment but we really need a win very soon.

to be honest I'd take a draw just to stop the sequence of losses on the bounce.

Can then start building up our play and confidence with more first teamers back and fully fit (fingers crossed)

You need a containment area, this is well known.

Every Gotham City needs its Arkham Asylum.

Yeah, this, or something very like it. Surprised that JHT didn't try it in the week before the international break. It would have been a good way to turn a problem (the long injury/suspension list) into an opportunity (trying a different structure).

Unless Kenny got an extra game for something he said then I think he has served his 3 match suspension so should be back. Onel looks fit and ready and reports are that Gunn is back - based on this we have weathered the worst of the storm. - still a point would be a good result to stop the rot

I'm pretty sure he bad mouthed the ref as he was leaving the pitch so got a 4 game ban. Im not going to get into another discussion about it but as captain he behaved like a **** and should've set a better example!

Pretty sure he was awarded the additional game so 4 total unfortunately.

Yes I think most of us would take a point.

A slight concern I have is that Sainz has blown his cover and with 3 men on him he's obviously not as effective. We need to learn how to switch the play and bring in players on the other wing. Nunez will be key here as will the form of Crnac.

He admitted the charge landing him a further one game ban and a £15k fine. Misses the WBA game.

I wonder if there was an element of taking a look at what he had in certain players, especially in midfield.

Which is where we are really missing Sargent. Whatever you think of his abilities. he is a proper nuisance to the defence so occupies markers and makes space for Sainz. Crnac might be able to do that but not when he is played as a winger rather than a centre forward (I've seen no evidence that he can actually fill that role yet).

Yes, we fans might forget that even poor performances can tell the coach a lot...
