Fun fact for you, Froch is now in the landlording game. He's bought a house not far from me, kitted it all out and is trying to rent it out for about £4000 per month.

As for the fight, I was planning to watch later but got woken up in the middle of the night by the kids so have just watched. I won't comment on outcome just yet to avoid spoiling for others.

Was reading a quote from Jake Paul post-fight where he attributed the performance due to the fact thar TWO days ago he allegedly ruptured ankle ligaments. Firstly, as someone who has ruptured ankle ligaments there is no way he would've been able to stand, let alone anything else.

But, and here's the kicker, he'd been on crutches for FOUR or FIVE days?? What a clown.

Nah. Both of those can at least give good fealings... This was a 'pro' fight. It was a joke. Gives nothing.

Nothing likeable about either Jake or Logan particularly, Tyson has his moments but he's also not a particularly great human being. All about the money. Glad I didn't stay up and only caught the drab highlights, if you want to call them that.

So very sad to see Mike hardly able to walk back to his corners between rounds.  Paul could've knocked him out cold in any of those final rounds, glad he didn't decide to upset the whole boxing world and do that in fairness.

Although felt more disappointed with the Taylor decision.  Simply awful judging considering the point deduction.  Not good for the sport at all.

Was always going to be medium-to-well. Jake Paul is nothing but an exhibition fighter, I'd love a proper in-form fighter to underline the difference.

I didn't watch either fight. Steve Bunce said the Tyson v Paul bout was "clearly staged". 

He was very excited by Taylor v Serrano, saying it was the closest thing to Rocky he'd seen.

Jake mostly only fights people that are either half his weight or double his age. He's all an act. Almost everything he does is scripted.

He knows if he fought someone in his weight class and around the same age as himself he would get destroyed.

In all honesty, that's what boxing has become anyway. There are a lot of chess games around trying to avoid a big clash in the hope their form starts to decline.

By the time Fury fought Klitschko for example, the latter was past his pinnacle. Years earlier would have been a real bout. Same as Fury not looking the boxer he was several years ago. It's the question of Joshua, was he really as good as the hype or has his team ducked and dodged the fights they knew would really push him until there was little choice left but to have to.
