YouTube threw this at me today for whatever reason.

Obviously our highest-ever finish was under Mike Walker, but I think that the Dave Stringer team is surely the hipster's choice of the best Norwich team of all time. Here they are dismantling Man Utd in the Cup, all while wearing one of the all-time great NCFC kits.

I don't really buy into the "good old days" philosophy but that was great to recall when you could put a decent tackle in without the opposition player rolling around on the floor feigning career ending injuries and the ref all too keen to buy it. That game would have gone on for about 3 hours under today's extra time rules.

Conversely, that was 34 years ago and now I feel old 😞 😄

It was Sherwood who headed the ball (not offside), and Fleck who knocked it in - he was not offside when the ball left Sherwood's head
