I think it's time to accept that we've got a fundamental tactical flaw in defensive transitions. We're consistently getting caught out of position and being sliced open. It's not one-off mistakes but a systemic, recurring issue which leads to numerous chances against us.

Can see why Sorensen has never got in ahead of other midfielders. 

Tackles and intercepts less than McLean, covers less ground and still gets dispossessed in central positions too easily.

Pretty stuff, but all too comfortable for Sheff Wed and they look like they’ll cut through us every time  they come forward.

In the positive column, you can see we’re trying to play good incisive football. On the downside you can see without our key players we do like an inexperienced and naive side. I think we’re ahead of where we expected to be but will need to be patient

Which wasn’t there to the same level with Nunez, McClean and Gunn down the spine. We’re a work in progress
