A new stand would be very nice. But, as you say, you’re probably reading a bit more into the article than what is stated and that could be simply the truth concerning a lack of UK bands touring in this area.

It's a small window for FCR as a concert venue, I.e June and no one seems to be touring at that time.

Why do they need a UK act? I saw Bruce Springsteen at the Stadium of Light last year. Doesn’t he come from a nation that interests NCFC?

Perhaps read into to it too much, but it's also quite coincidental.

I could imagine this to be high on Attanasio's wishlist as it's immediate legacy, he probably hates the fact that you can see the roof when matches are being broadcast too.   As is he friend Beyonce once said, "If you liked it then you oughta put a massive arch on it".

I'm seeing Bruce at Anfield next year. He did say he wants to visit new cities but Carra is far too small capacity wise for him I would think.

The Brewers stadium has massive windows at the back of the stands. Maybe he could do that so the TV footage still shows the cathedral in the background. Oh and the retail park

Right. Let's ensure this doesn't happen in 2026. I have the perfect solution. Form a Pinkun band and play there ourselves. What kind of music should we play? Do we need a bez type character who just dances at the side of the stage with a tub of mustard?

We can do a couple of warm up gigs in the lion and castle. Get a load of local support bands. Easy! Who's in?

They are doing pretty well in the Table. I wasn't impressed by the Stadium of Light though. Stairs were too steep and there were rain leaks.

Agreed Captain. I really hope Attanasio comes up trumps with this, was never going to happen with the last incumbents.

Must admit, I do like the City Stand.  I know it's ageing and we could do with some extra numbers (Although the Sky kick off times haven't been helping lately)....  But the nostalgic part of me will be sad should we pull and build something else, or over modernise it.

The southstand has no character to it really, but it can hold a decent amount of fans.  I don't think i'd want to see a repeat of that on the other side of the ground in all honesty.  But then, if I had it my way i'd flatten the hotel too and fill that section in.

Is there planning permission for a new stand? If not then i cant imagine that there is time for an application to be approved before summer. Shame we missed the pandemic window

That hotel is a monstrosity of the highest order. 15/20 years ago I thought Carrow Road looked so neat, it really doesn’t now.

That horrible cladding on the South Stand looks horrendous. Similar on the back of the Barclay as you drive passed. At least there is relief from the City Stand and River End with good old fashioned brickwork.

We'll have a stadium with 4 different sides plus a hotel stuck in the corner. It will be interesting to see a design for a new City Stand, one which actually gets planning permission.
