pete 375 Posted October 23, 2024 Interesting interview today on SSN 11.00 pm. Working for multi national companies e.g. Microsoft in providing his expertise concerning advising on psychology for workers and management. And working with a Championship side not revealed. Passed degree whilst at City, has a masters in psychology. One of the most succesful people to have played for City.
Don’t be Krul 454 Posted October 23, 2024 Is he still driving his Hummer? He looked like a flea on an elephant's back driving that back in the days

Watched one of his 'talks' and I found it incredibly boring. All feels like a bit of a grift to me, buy hey if there is a market for it then go for it. CirclePoint 209 Posted October 23, 2024 Well done to Paul. It’s great to see someone who has gained a strong education, while being committed to a professional sport at a solid level, and then combined those into a career that compliments those achievements. Bravo. Not many people are capable of such a thing.
Segura 101 Posted October 23, 2024 Anyone who frequented Delaney's bar in the early/mid 00s would struggle to believe that Macca is now a psychologist and Phil Mulryne a priest. But fair to play to the both of them, through hard work and dedication they appear to have found happiness and purpose in their lives/professions.

He was the speaker at some corporate event I went to years ago and it was pretty much this, lots of 'mindset' stuff. It isn't for me but it works for some so fair play. shefcanary 3,074 Posted October 23, 2024 For me, he'll never top scoring at Bramall Lane, standing in front of their Kop with arms outstretched horizontally and subsequently being buried by bottles and other junk thrown at him. A real wind up merchant! A great away match memory.

Icecream Snow 777 Posted October 23, 2024 I read his book "The Stupid Footballer is Dead" as it was on special in the club shop. It was very , very dry but the example/case studies were very good. Making the point how Grant Holt was the worst trainer in the world, but had the mental strength to bounce back from a lot of setbacks to play in the Premier League.
