Kings Lynn - Are you guys alright?

Recommended Posts

Sounds like rules were broken in terms of alcohol being consumed in view of the pitch and inadequate stewarding, and then Worksop fans looking for trouble decided to attack women and children Lynn fans upon equalising.

it can be a little like Yarmouth in lynn for fighting Gaywood and north lynn estates are close by and both a touch frayed around the edges tbh

Getting them in the cup would be epic

Don't forget Kings Lynn are a club who last time we played them moaned, cried and complained to the FA that a tiny minority of our fans may have sang a naughty song which got our club fined.. And that was during a friendly!

I’ve been a couple of times and thought it was quite a nice little town - but I’ve since been assured otherwise.

Unfortunately small elements of hooliganism still exists in football, more prevalent at non League level where it can be harder to trace.

While this may be true, it appears in this case as though it was the Lynn fans who were attacked at Worksop, so your comment is not relevant to the situation.

Sorry to interfere with your status as the oracle of wisdom , but capitalising started , fans and cretin is inaccurate. If you are going to correct ( and insult) others it would be wise to consider your own first.

Duly noted. I  pass the key to the fountain  of knowledge  to you. Mind it well, there's  pedants in the long grass, and cretins disguised  as fans  at every turn.

A while back I saw Jack Dee at a gig at the King’s Lynn Corn Exchange and he said the milk floats on the North Lynn estate have rear gunners on board.

Sounds a bit edgy 😉

C’mon Waveney the pedants on here are on your case and you need to up your game son.

Describing Corkie as “ a IRA supporting F@@@@@@ B@@@@@@ is wrong in so many ways. It should be “ an ( not a ) IRA f@@@@@@ B@@@@@@ “.

Assuming “ B@@@@@@ “ is saying “ Binner “ there’s one “ @ “ too many but if you’re merely describing Corkie as a fatherless person that’s OK as it needs six “ @ “ but it doesn’t need that capital “ B “

Hope this clears it up….

Pedant Extraordinaire 😂😎😳😉

Sorry, but I’ll engage with whoever I want. Normally wcorkcanary’s posts interest me a lot more than, for example yours, I just thought that he overstepped the mark on this occasion.

I do try to like King's Lynn given they are local. They're Norfolk's second team and I was born in the QE2.

However, their fans are always getting involved in unsavoury incidents such as this and the owner is an absolute shyster.

When he was at the Theatre Royal in Norwich a few years back he got the audience texting him their professions, he got one saying the person was a rear gunner on a milk float on the Mile Cross estate............
