I think weird and little is an apt description, going by who Chelsea drew in the Conference League, 3 of the teams being Noah,Astana and Shamrock Rovers, who knows what gems would come out of the hat.

Exactly! Thousands of Norwich fans mobbing some Scandinavian town or something would be great it’d be an adventure.

I struggle to see how this could be anything other than a loss making venture for us, so for that reason I'm out. 

TV revenue and therefore prize money would be paltry, as would the gate receipts because who wants to watch Norwich v Grenoble on a Wednesday night sandwiched between two league games unless the tickets are a tenner, meanwhile the cost of chartering flights, hotels, security would be expensive.

Italians who are owners/presidents of football teams are notoriously eccentric basketcases, so I don't think there's any chance of this idea being taken seriously by anyone.
