Err....it was a tap in.

Decent enough finish though. Used his pace as well. I don't miss him either though to be honest.

Good movement, decent finish. The best thing about it was the through ball which was sublime, but Idah should be given his props for his part.

Apologies, I saw a different goal on fake highlights. Seen the real one now, and yes, it was a very good goal.

It was a decent finish but Adam always had that in his locker, the issue was he had to miss 9 clear chances to score 1.

Really pleased for the lad.  Playing for a big club that he supports and in a big competition and gets his goal, it's a dream come true surely.

Scores in Champions League. Excellent finish.

Came on as a sub   why didn't he start the game?

He's doing OK. Best of luck to him. Many of us have our doubts about him, but I suggest we can agree that his development wasn't handled particularly well by the club.

If there is a thread every time Idah scores it is going to be a long season on the forum. Let’s just be pleased for the guy. I never got the hate he is a good player. Let’s see if this season 3rd choice striker hits 7 goals. The move was right for all parties like I said the guy is a good player but at Norwich he was never better than either Pukki or Sargent and that is just top level sport.

Bread and butter goal against a poor Slovakian side rated worst in the champions league, at that point their heads had already dropped.

Idah still had to score and took it well however and for once managed to stay onside and put it past the keeper.

Don't miss him and never will, looking forward to seeing what Ante and Oscar can produce once adapted to British football.

Well, it's early days but so far i'd prefer him over Crnac.

Ooof Hoggy. We know you've nailed your colours to this particular mast before, many times but that is a particularly reckless and premature observation. 😄

Where's the fun unless you go all in early doors though??

What world class Champions leauge side did he score against? Barcalona? Man City?

Well he wouldn't be playing Champions League anytime ever had he stayed here! Good luck to the lad, he'll be made for life after his move there.

Still being used as an impact sub though, not a starter.

Baffles me that people still don't understand the benefits of having a strong bench and strategic substitutions. Seldom are football matches won by the starting XI alone.

I think the guy who put him through on goal was a sub as well.

I watched the Celtic game when I got in from work and Kyogo looks a real player excellent movement and intelligence, it's hard to see how Idah gets too many starts for them with him as the main man. Unless he gets injured.  Idah took the goal well and looked sharp, was a fantastic pass to him. I am a bit of a stadium geek and I really want to get up to Celtic for a game the atmosphere sounded and looked elite.

Far far too early for comparisons, not least because Crnac is just 20 years old and finding his feet in a new country.

It was a nice finish though, goals like that were Pukki's bread and butter.

He did nothing of note for the first hour.

Nothing of note for the first 77 minutes in fact, apart from sit on a chair watching the game 🤣

Yeah, because Celtic have Kyogo Furahashi, no shame in being back up to him. Different players, but Sargent would be playing second fiddle to Kyogo too.
