Nuff Said 5,957 Posted September 18 If he upsets you, block him. The fewer people he has to talk to/upset, the less there is to be gained from posting on here.
Robert N. LiM 6,270 Posted September 18 Shane Warne said of Monty Panesar that he hadn't played 50 Tests, he'd played the same Test 50 times.

TIL 1010 5,246 Posted September 18 I looked on this thread to see what it was about in hope rather than expectation but my hopes were soon dashed when i found out he is still here.
Greavsy 2,645 Posted September 18 And you all give him what he wants......(and yes I do see the irony of this post) Block him, ignore him and move on. Simples.
Feedthewolf 5,885 Posted September 18 Completely ignoring him is the only possible way to make it stop. There's no way he'll stop as long as people are still engaging with him, as this is pretty much the only place he's not yet been banished/ostracised from.

Don't worry. Your position in the league table with 28,000 plus posts is not under threat.

wcorkcanary 4,779 Posted September 18 (edited) I kinda like his posts, not because he's right, but because I've been extremely calm and content in my daily life lately and I can only put it down to the sheer joy I feel when I realise that I am not Kevin Dack. Catching the largest Bass I've ever caught...on a lure yesterday ,helps too. Dear Kev, Try Angling , but without a hook, it's what Confucius did. That's all. Yes , and you will get 100 quid a share, josh Sargent will get 5 in one game and Delia will do the can can on the halfway line as ht entertainment. Meanwhile un the real world , nothing much of note happens, we draw another game and Delia has a snooze from about 64 mins onwards. You'll wake up and smell the Norwichness and hopefully realise that there's nothing for you here, there or anywhere, with that attitude.

We pay our money, we go to the football, we either enjoy or don't enjoy the game. None of us give a shiny sh!te about the 'shareholder value' being created for Essex Canary of Attleborough, mainly because we were all smart enough to see that a substantial 'investment' in a football club is a frankly terrible financial decision, because we all remember the failed AIM listings, Simon Jordan blowing his fortune, and the wave of Setanta administrations. I really don't understand why you ever made that investment. I know its not because you are a 'fan' of the club, because lets be honest, you aren't. You never say that you rate a player, or enjoyed a game, or are optimistic about a new manager, never got anything at all to say about the actual football, which is what we all pay to watch and why we post on this forum. You appear to have made the investment just so you can become a pain the bottom to a few suits. All we care about is having a functioning football club, a half competitive side and a sense that the football operation is going in the right direction, which we do have. What confuses me is why it is that you've ever felt that the rest of us would give a sh!t about your personal problems with the club or the value of your shareholding. I guess it started in an attempt to find some allies or validation for your gripes, but now that has utterly failed, why do you keep flogging the dead horse? If the business went into administration tomorrow and was bought out debt free or for pennies in the pound but Essex Canary's shareholding was completely wiped out, I would care about the club and its physical assets and IP passing into the right hands, I wouldn't care about your shareholding, I'd care about our club continuing to operate, I wouldn't care one jot about your shares. But guess what, we wouldn't hear anything about the survival of the club from you or any gratitude to whoever it is that bought us out of administration. We would hear countless moans about your lost £25,000. That throws any argument that your investment was purely altruism as a lifelong fan who cares about the club out of the window, we all see through that. Which leads back to the question, how did an accountant look at the football landscape and decide that this industry would be a sensible investment?
