The transfer rumour to end all transfer rumours...

Training on his own as well by the looks of it. Perhaps he got the address wrong and was supposed to be in Ipswich.

Joining Kalvin Phillips in the "shot to sh*t central midfielder" union?

I do feel really sorry for Dele after everything he's been through. Really hope that he can have a good autumn to his career and find some form again, because the talent was so obviously apparent.

Don't shoot the messenger, guys... 😉

He used to live by me so would see him regularly with his ex bird and walking the dog. Bit of a simple guy but certainly lost his way. His ex bird was decent.

Do you mean he used to own a rather clever parrot?

Won't do, as it's not impossible. Has been training at Everton but Spurs get a wedge if he signs a new contract so they will take some convincing about fitness. Only 28 so could come good again, but who at the top table going to risk top dollar - big money days could be behind him if he doesn't prove himself on the pitch, would get more minutes with us on a one-year deal with significant bonuses, than with other potential suitors.

I usually don't care for these behind the scenes documentaries.

But this filmed interview with José Mourinho, when he was the Spurs manager, and Dele Alli pretty much nails it.

Mourinho tells him outright he's wasting his potential, and throwing away his football career.

‘His ex bird was decent’ Are you auditioning for a role in the remake of The Sweeney, or do you inhabit some closed world of 1970s slang, squire?

I'm still trying to work out if he was walking with a gorgeous ex-girlfriend and her ugly mate or simply taking his poodle for a toddle

It's awful. He's still only 28 and I can't help but feel is another example of agents and clubs failing to look after players, the people that players are.

He should be in his prime now, not training with Everton hoping for a contract.

It would be one hell of a random way to find a club, train in one of their local green spaces hoping to be spotted. Perhaps we'll see Dwight Gayle playing keepy uppy in Waterloo Park. Fun idea though.

Where was that photo taken? Doesn't look like any of the pitches around Mousehold. Possibly the one opposite Heartsease School, though I didn't think that was still set as a football pitch.

Id take him without a single question

I feel that the smart thing to do, if he genuinely believes he can get himself back to the Prem, would be to take the £10k a week that he'd be offered in the Championship with a modest release clause, say £5m, show the world that he's still got 'it', and use the Championship as a stepping stone to getting himself a Prem club next summer.

Look at Ross Barkley getting himself a platform at Luton to show that he's definitely still got it, and then earning himself a big move to Aston Villa. That is what Dele Alli should do, if he genuinely thinks he can still play at that level, get himself a platform in this country.

I suspect however that what he will actually do is go to the highest bidder to try and maintain the lifestyle that he is accustomed to and end up doing a Jesse Lingaard, going to Saudi or somewhere obscure to be some clubs high profile signing, which would be a shame in my view at his age.

Possibly the one that borders Britannia Road, if at all. It's not the Fountain.

Doesn't look like that one. More like the one off Gilman Road, though I don't think that has been laid as a football pitch for years.

Someone is taking the ****. Saw it looked nothing like Mousehold. Reverse image searched it and its from July 1st when him and some other players were doing a day with a non league club in London.
