Just happened to notice Tomkinson & Springett are now in the U21 squad and no longer listed in the first team. Departures imminentl? Not surprising. JT is obviously now behind Hills & Warner. Springett has had chances but not delivered. Maybe loans but wouldn't be surprised if either or both leave permanently. At least Tompkinson has 20 odd games behind him in League 2 and did ok. The problem with Springett is he's done nothing to show he's ready for the Championship, if he's ever going to be - and did nothing in League 1 either, in fairness with very limited chances. That's not even a team. You could get a cap for Ireland or Scotland by being able to lace football boots correctly. Up for bants but that's a bit on the nose old chap!! Back to springett, he looked lost and bereft of anything when he had that little run of sub appearances. Maybe your right but I'd just eject him out the door to league 1.
