Spurs looking very good indeed. Leicester seem incapable of stopping Maddison. Really should have the game sewn up by now.

Need Leicester to win this from here

If they get docked 6 pts, they need to make that back up on the binners asap

Shouldn’t matter based on this performance theyll finish rock bottom anyway

Also son always strikes me as a player who has been so calm at spurs that one day he’s gonna lose the plot completely and punch, kick a referee, fan or player

Fantastic game! The close control at speed & invention was breathtaking. Leicester changed completely after their goal, & could easily have nicked it. Though how on Earth Spurs didn't score a hatful before Leicester levelled is a mystery; I suppose it was a classic case of trying to walk the ball into the net, score the perfect goal type syndrome.

Goes to show how you MUST score - & keep scoring - when you're dominating, because any team will come back at some stage.

Great to watch though, thoroughly entertaining, what football's all about for me.

Does anyone else think we are kind of the Spurs of the Championship?

No.

They can't finish top. We have.

No. If anyone, I'd say Leeds were.

Given we have won the divison i'm not sure we count

There's a substantial difference between finishing top of the Champ and the Prem though. And we haven't won the league for a long time.

I was thinking more of our playing style, ability to miss opportunities and then snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Long time?

Leicester, Burnley, Fulham, Norwich, Leeds, Norwich. I'm not sure I'm with you on the definition of long.

You don't think 3 years is a long time? In football that's an eternity.

It's two dozen Watford managers.

It’s not when you consider that Spurs last one the League over 60 ( SIXTY)year ago!!

We were pitched a question about whether we are the Spurs of the Championship. The comparison of difficulty of finishing top at that point is irrelevent.

Spurs have essentially the reputation of having reasonably good sides but struggling to break into the top two or three on a consistant basis. What follows is a host of meme's about no titles etc. Eg; Harry Kane and Dier going to Bayern to win titles and having failed to do so.

Comparatively, we have win the title twice, going back less than a decade.

In fact, I'm pretty sure it was 2019 and 2021. So just a tad outside of twice in the last 5 years. If that constitutes a long time then sure, yes. We haven't won the league in three years, including the one we weren't in the league to win it.

To be fair, Watford supporters might think watching 6 managers come and go in a season is like waiting for eternity to come.

For everyone else it's three seasons including one where we couldn't win it because we weren't in it.
