After choking in the play-off final, spanked at home tonight with a mass exodus from the Leeds fans, Farke could be an early casualty if things don't pickup, Mickey Mouse cup or not.

It’s embarrassing for him they went out round one but he did make a load of changes.

Lose to West Brom on Saturday and pressure starts to ramp up.

I’m honestly surprised they stuck with him so I imagine there’s enough patience from the board to let him sort it out, but their fans won’t have the same.

Tough few weeks for him.

Probably doesn't help that they have sold and haven't been able to sign anyone. Couple of my Leeds mates keep asking about Rowe, after telling them about him they no longer want him, but still it must all feel a bit "why did we sell Emi??!" To Danny Boy!

Maybe if hes fired we can bring him back as Director of Football?

I think we have conceded 5 and played Oxford and Stevenage. I know we are in a rebuild and they are favourites to win the league but, I am not going to comment on other teams defending until we get ours sorted. Hopefully this will be soon.

He's only ever going to be a couple of bad games away from pressure and stick from the crowd there.

Their fans were spoilt by Bielsa and have aspirations for another big name coach, Poch included.

Anyone else hear Farke say "I'm responsible that we won't win the Carabao Cup this season" after the match?

AllI can say is well played, Sir.

If he is not in a promotion place by Xmas I would expect him to be gone

Living close by,

The fans don't want him to have that long.

They'll need to act really quickly for that then...

Bournemouth have agreed a €47m deal to sign Evanilson from Porto, as well as being linked with a loan-with-obligation for El-Bilal Toure from Atalanta.

I think the Sargent rumours can be put to bed, unless one of these falls through.

EDIT: Oops, thought this was the transfer thread...

To be fair to Farke, for the second year running he's losing players after the season has started with little time or money to get new players in. Allegedly, Rutter told him before the game last night that he was leaving as Brighton had triggered his release clause which can't have helped moral within the team.

Where this leaves Farke or Leeds is anyone's guess as the likes of Gnonto and Wober may well now seek a move as well, the squad was already the smallest in the Championship and is set to get even smaller.

I notice that Johnny Howson has dropped back to centre back to prolong his career.

Leeds didn't score so he must be alright!

He's more than that. Reckon he could play anywhere and do a 8/10 job.

He has looked like the best centre midfielder on the pitch the last two times we played them.

The word 'still' was missing, meant to say "still must be alright".

At 36 its a year by year thing isn't it, he'll be good until he suddenly isn't very good anymore.

Shame he didn't stay here really, he'd have got 2 more years of Premier League football under his belt and two Championship winners medals instead of the 7 full years of Championship football that he's had at Middlesbrough.

Reckon Farke has about 10 games. If they aren't top 3 or 4 after that he's out.

He won’t have 10 games if this form continues.

If the psychos on Waccoe had their way he’d have less than ten minutes. True to form after just the first two games they’re less than happy bunnies with their manager.

To be fair, he’s had a poor run since the international break last season. No denying it. But can’t imagine what mess he’s having to deal with behind the scenes. It’s a mess of a club.
