My guess would be MA has brought him on board with the Norfolk holdings group.

That's a lot of Money, especially when you consider that it's come out of other people's pockets over the years.

Hopefully he's in to throwing money down a hole for a club that he has yet to develop an affinity with.

This puts Tom Smith well out of his depth as well as seeing his inheritance vastly diluted.

This is one of the best replies I've seen in a long time.

I think he's actually worth just over £8.8 billion ...

What’s another 6.8 billion amongst friends?

Ressler IIRC owns c.40% of NH, via quite a curious share structure. I doubt he is going to pump billions into Norwich without serious consideration. Nah, good to have him on Board, but money isn't going to flow quickly on the club's direction. Might see some stadium rebuild though.

I did a quick Google and only found one worth 1.8bn, was the other 7bn down the back of his sofa or is there more than 1 🤷🏻‍♂️

I do hope so, it’s so badly needed. Carrow Road is looking tired.

I've also done a quick Google and that produced several different estimates, ranging from $1.2bn to $50bn. I think Mr Ressler has his fingers in many pies, via many different investment vehicles. I don't think he or anyone else has a true handle on how much he is worth, but he is at least a billionaire.

Maybe they'll put the long awaited second tier on the GW stand

Oh to have that much money and know how much you've actually got 😆

Told you it would be Ressler on the board.  Made sense given his UK operations and closeness to Atanasio.

He was part of the group who came over in 2022 when the news broke, and highlighted as an advisory board member at the time.  This isn't any crazy news is it?

Nope.  It was always going to be him.

No. Obviously a very busy man, otherwise it would have happened sooner. It does though pose a question over what next? If he is getting formally involved, it's for a very good reason.

No more than he's Atanasio's representative who is UK resident.  To be fair, MA could have dialled in from the US without much issue, but you really want someone in the room, especially if you basically own the show.

If you're into all that, I guess.  The benefactors will always be the investors, unless it goes **** up and then everyone gets burnt.

They've got it on the cheap, inherited supporters who are used to losing their best assets, no wonder ears have pricked up.
