Northern Canary 0 Posted March 31, 2006 is annoyed with Iwan Roberts comments.......I dont know what he has to complain about. Roberts talked about lack of passion which is clearly true and that the signings have let Worthy down - which is even more true, what has Robinson done since coming here?“I think that statement is a bit harsh on the lads. We didn''t go out there lacking passion. We went out there wanting to win the game at Burnley.” What a load of rubbish, they went to Burnley and didnt break sweat, they did nothing. fleggy 0 Posted March 31, 2006 Yet again we have one of Worthys failures rushing into print to condemn the words of someone who will always be remembered fondly by Norwich supporters for his 100% commitment to the cause. If Iwan can''t criticise these sensitive flowers who can.? Robinson would have us believe that the surrender, witnessed by the nation, did not happen. Time you were part of our rebuilding sunshine. Syteanric 1 Posted March 31, 2006 Perahps Carl Robinson aught to try doing something meaningful on the pitch instead of going Walkies, or passing to the opposition every time he gets the ball...Iwan Roberts scored almost 250 goals in his Career, and cost quite a fair bit in transfer fees...Carl Robinson isnt even 30 and has already played for 10 clubs.. being released on a free by all of them.. only we were stupid enough to pay for him...Go back to the free agent list and be forgotten Robinson.. even Wrexham let u go which is a sign of ur outstanding ability!jas :)
Jerzy Krukowski 5 Posted April 1, 2006 seeing as various players keep complaining at the comments of ex players, perhaps they can come up with what they think is the real reason for their abject performances week in week out that don''t include guff such as ,everyone wants to beat Norwich so they raise their games, or our heads dropped after the first goal went in. They are not acceptable excuses. Other, successful teams (Norwich and others) do not crumble when the opposition scores or leak regelation levels of goals or capitulate against poor teams who''ve "raised their game" especially just for them. That''s pathetic.
sheded 0 Posted April 1, 2006 Iwan just spoke the truth ! if the truth doesn`t go down well with the likes of of Robbo ... then , too bad , punters don`t hand over their hard earned at the turnstiles to listen to players excuses ! its not their mouths we want to see moving , its their bleddy feet !! its trite but true , actions DO speak louder than words .... like McKenzie blurting out he`s going to make amends for the " uncharacteristic " [ do me a favour ! ] screw ups when the goalmouth is there waiting for him to do the basic thing ... surely its not expecting too much that a striker , presented with a 24ft by 8ft area to shoot into , and getting thousands a week in wages , can kick the ball INTO that area ? We`ll be looking at you today Leon ..... [6]
