I love how the Fabio Quagliarella thread is the most viewed, and for context, six of the next seven are the massive summer transfer rumour threads for each of the past six years, which obviously cover every rumour for that summer (in theory, anyway). Fabio has to be the most famous Norwich player that never actually played or signed for the club.

Helsinki canary 312 Posted November 24, 2024 Credit where credit is due - Binners all over a limp Utd. They are playing the high press with very great success - something we have failed miserably at in the past years- Utd look rattled under the press

Ipswich were the better team first half but they weren't second half. Forget the name Man Yoo (this is not a SAF Utd team) and they've just failed to beat a bottom half team at home again. Helsinki canary 312 Posted November 24, 2024 Just shows that a team with moderate talent who are trained and set up in a way playing the high press and control can stand their own in the Premier league, unfortunately our previous managers have not taken this approach preferring passive play out from the back attracting the immediate high press and getting caught out

You are correct of course. However, if we were in their position and had just taken 4 points from games v Spurs and United, this message board would be inundated with rallying calls about......'staying up', 'showing our PL quality' etc. For Ipswich to stay up they will need someone like Palace, Wolves, Everton etc. falling through the trapdoor. That's unlikely but by no means impossible.

'Most viewed' gives one take on level of interest ie. repeat viewings by members, readers and general visitors 'Most replied' is a slightly different measure of popularity/longevity amongst engaged posters. The current top 12 I've posted below is mostly off-season transfer or international competition threads.. 2021-22 still apparently the most promising to date 😞. Aside from those which are basically summer-long repositories of news, debate and BS for bored/hopeful/desperate PUPs, our most stimulating threads are 1. Mark Attanasio 2. Fabio Q. 3. Parma's State of the Nation and 4. Tycoons in investment talks. Again top 12 only but @Alex Moss seems to be the most reply-inspiring poster in the transfer thread sector, with @Parma Ham's gone mouldy the worthy thread-starting leader in terms of general topics that are obviously still live.  Edited December 1, 2024 by GenerationA47 Retired the reggae hit Station of the Nation!
