On the Pinkun Norwich City forum, there are a variety of posters with different levels of engagement and experiences with the club. While it is challenging to pinpoint exactly who has never been to a game without specific admissions, some members have been characterized based on their level of participation and the nature of their posts.

### Less Engaged Posters:
- **Essex Canary** often engages in discussions that suggest a focus on theoretical aspects of the club rather than practical, in-game experiences. This might hint at a more armchair-based support, but there is no explicit confirmation of never attending a game [oai_citation:1,Are you renewing your NCFC season ticket? - Page 2 - Main Discussion - Norwich City - The Pinkun Forums](https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/154661-are-you-renewing-your-ncfc-season-ticket/page/2/).

There isn't a single definitive answer to who on the Pinkun forum might be an Ipswich fan posing as a Norwich fan, but there are discussions and suspicions among the members. The forum often refers to "Binner fans" (a derogatory term for Ipswich fans) appearing during contentious times or after significant matches [oai_citation:1,Ipswich fan cope bingo - Main Discussion - Norwich City - The Pinkun Forums](https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/156192-ipswich-fan-cope-bingo/) [oai_citation:2,The Ipswich run in - Page 2 - Main Discussion - Norwich City - The Pinkun Forums](https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/156043-the-ipswich-run-in/page/2/).

Specific mentions of Ipswich fans include users like "Sir Digby Chicken Ceasar" and "TheOldBlue&White," who have been identified as Ipswich supporters but have participated in debates on the Norwich City forum [oai_citation:3,Ipswich fan in peace  - Main Discussion - Norwich City - The Pinkun Forums](https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/79787-ipswich-fan-in-peace/). These discussions suggest that there is a keen awareness and sensitivity among the community to potential Ipswich fans, especially during periods when Ipswich performs well or Norwich is struggling.

Ultimately, while exact identities are hard to pinpoint without further context, the forum has a history of calling out suspected Ipswich fans, and these suspicions are generally met with a mix of skepticism and hostility by the Norwich faithful [oai_citation:4,Norwich fans  - Main Discussion - Norwich City - The Pinkun Forums](https://forum.pinkun.com/index.php?/topic/31905-norwich-fans/).

Many thanks. Just to point out I have attended 1600 NCFC matches over 55 years.

I have certainly posted far more on off field than on field issues. I not quite sure though what is theoretical about NCFC having season ticket prices that in terms of the lowest price on offer) are the joint 13th highest in the country when our performance has not remotely matched it and/or the marginalisation of the 20% minority shareholding component which is the largest of any comparable Club nor the preposterous wage bill of the last Premier League season or the freezing of apparent Club value to that of 22 years ago. To use Chris Suttons phraseology NCFC is better than that or if it isn't it ought to be.

While this is interesting to see what AI can do, and mildly amusing, it highlights why I limit my time on this forum and don't post often.

There are a lot of interesting subjects raised, and some interesting opinions, and this is also my go-to place to look for news that isn't front-page and of course rumours.

However, as soon as I see members bitching at each other, I lose interest and leave. These are almost always between just a few of you (I'm sure you know who you are) and it brings the whole thing down. I'm sure it must be one of the reasons why there are only a handful of members who do most of the posting. Basically, it's boring reading the same old moans between the same posters, time after time.

And yes, I'm aware that this is a moan! 🙂

Top 5 signings by likelihood. A few returns in here.

Based on the latest discussions and verified sources, here are the top five new transfer targets for Norwich City in 2024 along with their estimated chances of being signed:

1. **Sydney van Hooijdonk (Centre-Forward, Bologna FC)** - **40%**
   - Van Hooijdonk has been linked with Norwich due to their need for a strong centre-forward. His potential loan move could significantly bolster their attacking options [oai_citation:1,Norwich City - Transfers 23/24 | Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/norwich-city/transfers/verein/1123).

2. **Mikkel Duelund (Midfielder, Dynamo Kyiv)** - **35%**
   - As a versatile midfielder, Duelund has been discussed as a solid addition to strengthen Norwich's midfield. His move seems plausible given the club's current scouting focus [oai_citation:2,Norwich City - Transfers 23/24 | Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/norwich-city/transfers/verein/1123).

3. **Yang Min-Hyuk (Midfielder, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors)** - **25%**
   - Although a less probable acquisition, Yang is on the radar due to his promising talent and the growing trend of recruiting from the Asian market [oai_citation:3,Norwich City: Transfer ins and outs - January 2024 - Sports Mole](https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/norwich-city/transfer-talk/feature/norwich-city-transfer-ins-and-outs-january-2024_532587.html) [oai_citation:4,Norwich City - Transfers 23/24 | Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/norwich-city/transfers/verein/1123).

4. **Ui-jo Hwang (Centre-Forward, Nottingham Forest)** - **30%**
   - Hwang has been mentioned as a potential target to strengthen the forward line, considering his experience and skills [oai_citation:5,Norwich City - Transfers 23/24 | Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/norwich-city/transfers/verein/1123).

5. **Milot Rashica (Right Winger, Galatasaray)** - **20%**
   - Rashica, who had a loan spell at Galatasaray, could be a target to add depth to the wings. However, his return might be less likely given other priorities [oai_citation:6,Norwich City - Transfers 23/24 | Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/norwich-city/transfers/verein/1123).

These estimates are based on a combination of forum discussions and current transfer market activities.

What exactly is the point of this? We did actually sign Van Hooijdonk and Hwang on loan and Rashica left Galatasary (where he was on loan from us) a year ago. These are very obviously out of date.
