what could we do?

That is what is most depressing for me.

The foundations are here for a decent manager, with a bit of squad reshaping in the summer to take this team to the Premiership. Sure, some of the players aren''t good enough but with a few quality additions in the summer we could definitley challenge for automatic promotion. Hell Sheffield Utd are going to win it by the looks of it and they are certainly not a great team.

Far from being depressing, the point you just made is the main positive thing that I''m clinging on to.  If we play crap and finish 9th this season, we should be in the playoffs (at least) next season as our new-look team get used to each other''s game.

unfortunatly   our new look team, although winning 5 on the bounce at home in somewhat unimpressive fashion, have failed to win away and registered 3 noshows in the process away at reading, palace and burnley!! we have 2 away games coming up lets hope we can get a win in those.
