Surprised football  teams still travel by train.

They won't after this.

2 hrs 50 mins by train - 4 hrs 5 mins by coach, no traffic hold ups etc either, though it doesn't include time travelling, 6 mile, from WHL to Euston

They must be doing this frequently as the 'fans' would not know to be at the station

Another pi ssing about, this time by Everton at the back rather than punting it clear

2-0 up after 86 mins became 2-3 at FT. Sounded like lots of booing, I wonder where the fans will vent their argument after this game....

They've conceded 10 goals in 3 games. That kind of form will almost certainly see them relegated.

They need to ditch Dyche asap whilst they have a chance of getting a decent replacement.

Yeah, I did have that thought. I've been waiting for years for them to go down. Would be typical if they did finally do it, thereby saving Ipswich...

The bottom 7 looks already sorted. Any point is a bonus point from this time on.

A difficult one. In a dream world they would both go in the same season but I agree with others who say Leicester and Southampton are virtually nailed on to go down.

Having said that, being 2-0 up in the 87th minute and losing is quite an achievement 😂

Good job if they go down. About time. Scummy club, scummy fans. Never forget them losing to Coventry 4-1 to relegate us, Everton players out on the pop the week and nights before having won the league. And getting absolutely pelted by the fans with coins at Villa Park in 1989. Good job they won, hate to think what it would've been like had they lost

Bonkers to judge the Premier after 3 games unless you are talking about Man City.

Would usually agree with that in most leagues, but the PL does tend to be fairly predictable.

Yes it is early but the longer they go without wis, the more toxic it becomes. Players will want away in January and they wont have the funds or find players that want to be in a relegation scrap. It depends how many clubs they can drag into it. Their last fixtures are:

Ipswich (H)

Fulham (A)

So'ton (H)

Newcastle (A)

Interesting...

They should have kept Ben Godfrey...........................

Everton won't go down. If it was going to happen they would have gone by now; when they need a result they'll get one. Dyche was always a stopgap and he'll be on his bike again soon - he hasn't a clue how to move a club up a league, just to survive; a dinosaur.

Everton need a young, ambitious coach with new ideas. Perhaps they'll find one in 1p5wich.

I’ve given up thinking they’ll come down, season on season since 1985. Every time they seem to pull out just enough to scrape through.

Saturday I thought they actually played pretty well until they conceded and then fell apart. Get rid of Dyche and I think they’ll have enough again.

Three promoted teams coming straight back for me so a silver lining.

Several years ago it was Sunderland that narrowly escaped relegation season after season. finally fell through the trap door, then again to league one.
