Haven't "RadNor" been using someone else already to do some of the interviews that Butler used to do at the Carra' recently. Never caught their name, but surely that is the person in prime spot to take over.

But, this being the BBC, odds on it will be a woman - this should really set this MB aflame!

No doubt that Rob is chalk and cheese.  I really like him and enjoy Canary Call and the Scrimmage, but others (my wife included who is also a season ticket holder) really don't like his style.  I don't know how old he is, but I feel like I can relate to him as a 40-something Norwich fan, we've been through the same highs and lows.  I'll be actively looking out for his content on Radio 5.

Towards the end of the season they trialed a few different CanaryCall formats, I'm guessing in preparation for this news and next season.  My preference would be for Chris Goreham to host, with Phil Daley on the post-match interviews.  When Phil hosted CanaryCall, it didn't feel the right dynamic to me.

Jack Maclean has been getting more involved with the Scrimmage, but I believe he's an Ipswich fan.  Not sure whether he'd get the gig full time as the host, but we'll see.  I don't think Chris Reeve is ready to host, but is a credible sidekick.

Never been a fan of Butler as he runs with the hares and hunts with the hounds. How he has lasted as long one can only wonder. 

The show badly needs a shake up, with somebody who is independent of the club and isn't afraid to speak their mind when needed.  The producers also need to have different callers every week and not patronising to Coypu loving callers with a thick Norfolk accent circa 1910.

I agree with others that they'll likely pick Chris Reeve as his replacement it feels so obvious. I've got nothing against Chris Reeve personally, I've never met him and know very little about him but his voice and presenting style really grates on me, he doesn't have a voice for radio and he's quite awkward at times so if he takes over I'll definitely end up listening to snorefolk less after games. I guess maybe he could improve though, different job but I remember Phil Daley being absolutely awful at match commentary for a good few seasons but recently he's improved to the point he's decent now so maybe Reeve could improve but his voice will always be too nasal and grating for me. 

I actually quite liked Rob Butler though even if I've disagreed with a lot of what he's said over the years, I won't miss him but he did the job well enough so good luck to him in the future.

“Claim to find insufferable” - are you suggesting people actually like him and are pretending not to for some reason? 

Id suggest it’s more likely they would rather not hear him on the radio after every game. Seems logical to me as I find him irritating as well. 

You may like him, others don’t. Not that complicated.
