Also, I see no place for Barnes under the Hoff. Let's let him get in the door before we start telling him who he should and shouldn't play and offload, shall we? 😆
Terminally Yellow 2,614 Posted May 27 Sounds like Will Still might have said yes to Sunderland. Will be interesting to see how he does.

sgncfc 1,330 Posted May 27 Looks quite exciting to me. I'm prepared for a couple of 0-4's to Millwall if we then get another squad we can relate to. I can't see him ditching all our experienced players at all; he'll take at least 6 months to work out who does what. Let's see if Aboh and Rowe sign new contracts - that would be a fair indication that we have some excitement ahead, if players like that buy into the project. I think he’s going to do well, but I understand our approach and think getting the best coach for building the structure we want of course makes sense. Daz Sparks 1,558 Posted May 27 I presume he will become popularly referred to as the "Hoff". That's how I'll name him, anyway, especially if does good!

His Ghanaian so clearly has a connection and important part to play there. Have no idea about Essien's qualities as a coach but would be quite a coup to recruit him as well.
