lucky green trainers 0 Posted April 2, 2006 sure - another win, but as usual a less than convincing performance. more worringly for worthy and delia though, is another no-show by the supporters - the morgue like atmosphere continues. delia may well have the power, but it seems she is beginning to lack authority amongst the fans - why, because after her statement of support for worthy if she expected the city faithful to rally, it hasn''t happened. the longer the battle of wills goes on between her and the fans, the more likely it is she will also lose support. its likely city will not gain promotion next year in circumstances of disunity - the fans, players, management and board need to be pulling in the same direction. the fact that the caretaker bosses of leicester and forest won manager of the month for march, and the revival of newcastle shows underperforming squads can be turned around under a new manager. surely its time for delia to show loyalty to NCFC and the fans rather than her manager. A load of squit 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Delia can show loyalty to the NCFC and the fans AND the manager, you''re deluded if you think thats not the case.
The Duke of Norfolk 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Disunity. That is the big reason NW has to go.Forget about results and perfomances we will never acheive promotion witht he way morale and feeling at the club is at the moment. If NW is still in charge next season the same atmosphere will prevail. Just because we haven''t played for a couple of months and we''ve all been on our holidays won''t change anything, but this is probably what the board are thinking will happen. The only way for the club to move forward is to bring in a new management team for a fresh start next season. Return the feel good factor.
sussexcanary 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Totally agree - im still laying my trust in Delia and the board that THEY WILL see sense and say ta ta to Worthington in the summer. This club so desparately needs a new a manager now its getting ridiculous. I don''t get to FCR much at the moment but it sounds a rather depressing place these days with zero passion and atmosphere. I blame 2 years of inept management and crap football for this. OTBC.
Rossi 0 Posted April 2, 2006 i agree LGT, but the evidence on here when anyone says anything about delia is that she is totally supported. I can''t speak about anyone else, but my impressions of her ''speech'' was to stop the protests and the booing inside CR.IMO people have in the back of their minds that she will allow him to see the season out and they are sitting back and waiting for what they think will be inevitable. If we start next season with Nige and we dont start like a rocket, |the reaction will be very interesting. As much as i hate to say it, i''m reasonably sure he will start next season. We need a Manager 0 Posted April 2, 2006 She has already lost the support of many fans and more will follow if she continues to support the fool in charge , thats a cast iron certainty.
sheded 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Just because Delia is a major shareholder doesn`t mean she`s queen of all she surveys ! nor would she want to be .... if she marched into the boardroom and demanded that Nigel be sacked , you can be sure there would be a stunned silence .... but you can bet your arse that the fate of Nigel is right up there on the agenda ! we`ll just have to wait and see what happens after the season ends . Mello Yello 2,571 Posted April 2, 2006 Delia didn''t look so glum, fed up and dispirited against ''The Foxes'' - as she certainly was against Burnley. She seemed to be enjoying the game yesterday, when I occasionally caught fleeting glimpses of her - through hubby MWJ''s foggy cloud of ''Capstan full strength'' ciggy smoke......She has a passion for the club - and obviously a percentage of influence within the board, but, she and the rest of the Directorship, must sense the lack of vocal atmosphere, excitement and the muted support over the last few home games. I felt slightly embarrassed, when the announcer was attempting to get the crowd ''fired up'' for the start of the second half![:$]To be perfectly honest, I want to see the back of this season, and I''m more looking forward to the World Cup.An uninspiring performance from both sides, and therefore, I spent more time ''people watching'' than concentrating on the ''hoofball'' on display......"Roll on August"........and, for the ''Ripe'' Gentleman, who resides within my nasal senses....."Roll on deodorant!"............Please! ;~pHoofnote: If she had ultimate authority - maybe Bob ''commuter'' Cooper and Brian ''blarneymeister'' Hamilton, would still be on the club payroll............''orrible thought!
