The Popcons had a conference today, speakers were Starkey, JRM, Hannan and Braverman. They all discussed why they lost & how they are going to win next time. Suella also highlighted "the lunatic woke virus".

If this is what the RWNJ's have got to look forward to we're in for a hilarious time.

Classic Tory. Was thier election loss down to the majority hating them and them having an awful campeign?

No, it's the woke mind virus. Blame anyone and anything but themselves.

I know. I had a quick shout at the radio earlier when she appeared on the news, but it then dawned on me, the more successful she is, the longer it will be until the Tories start to look electable again.

😂😂 Quite, and you'd have thought with all their experience of handling Coronavirus they'd have come up with a vaccine for this woke mind virus before the election and then they could have been settling down for another five years in power 😂😂

Just how stupid is this woman???

Fascinating that they're sticking with the 'Popular Conservatism' label, despite all the available evidence to the contrary! 😀

Yeah, I'd have thought the key reason why they lost was because they were about as much ****ing use as jacking off when drunk. Come to think of it, that summed up the Tory Government. It was long, pointless, and nothing good came out of it.

Diane Abbott shaking like a leaf and sounding awful in parliament. Has she got some health issues going on or something? Should have retired years ago to be fair

The good news keeps on coming. James Brexit Dyson has lost his libel case against the Mirror.

I was very concerned about her health when she was momentarily sidelined and she gave a speech afterwards. She was shaky, had to be helped by friends to walk (on both sides) and had quite a vacant stare. My wife thought that she looked like she had Parkinson's Disease but of course we don't know. I felt like you that she ought to retire simply to make the most of her health. But then, I don't know her and perhaps politics keeps her going. But it struck me, as I'm sure it did to many, clearly you too

Yep, and is consoling himself by cutting another 1,000 jobs - things just don't seem to be going his way any more.

You forgot add at the end, a deep sense of shame and self loathing for even contemplating it in the first place.

Because I’m not the one making the claim. It generally falls on the person stating something happened to provide the proof that it did, not the person questioning it. Tell me which seats one side dropped considerably and the other rose by the same amount?

Have you seen the election result? You're the only person in the country who hasn't worked it out.

Do you think the Lib Dems won all those seats because

a/ people saw Ed Davey fall off a surf board and thought he was worth their vote, or

b/ they wanted to get rid of the Tories and looked at a tactical voting website.

Honestly, it really isn't that difficult to work out, is it?

What won the Lib Dems their gains was far more swing from the Conservatives than anything else, so yeah, falling off paddle boards did a good job.

But in any case the voters who chose to vote Lib Dem made their own choices. Labour didn’t do them any favours. The biggest beneficiary of tactical voting will have been labour which further underlines what a moron you chose for leader with Jeremy Corbyn who arguably gunned more enthusiastically to kill off smaller parties than he did the conservatives.

Why do you take such delight whenever something adverse happens to others simply because you don’t agree with their political views?  I think you spend an unhealthy amount of time trawling the internet for this sort of stuff.  All this hate really isn’t good for you.

For someone who claims they aren’t a racist troll, why is your post split about 1/3 stalking Herman, 1/3 telling us how much you dislike Muslims and idolise Tommy Robinson, and 1/3 trying to convince everyone you’re not racist?

Don't tell him I didn’t trawl for that. It was on the BBC.

So you can’t prove that large scale tactical voting took place then? You can’t give examples where a seats share of the Lib Dem vote fell significantly and Labours rose by the same amount (and vice versa) to beat the Tories? Simply shouting “look at the seats won” isn’t proof it happened, as that had much more to do with Reform splitting the right vote (and Tory voters staying away) than anything else.

I’ll leave it at that, as this is just going round in circles now

I'm still surprised that non of the main parties stand against the speaker during the election.

Why don't you have a look? The evidence is the huge number of seats won by Labour and Lib Dems despite not increasing their vote share. It's blindingly obvious.

Watching Pickles (not somebody I usually terrible agree with but) on Peston last night - he said if I paraphrase (much I think as other expunged Tories have said) that the electorate had decided to remove the Tories by all and any means possible - another said they were 'hunting' us down.

It was a ruthless who do we vote for to remove the Tory incumbent. Their vote went many ways!

As an aside Pickles also said if I recall that the Tories need to return back to the traditional Tory (I guess one nation) values. I'd agree with him there too.

Even the thinking Tories are not making any excuses or lame 'electoral voting system' explanations for what happened.

Yup. People only voted Labour or Tory. The large percentage of  votes for other parties were just a mass hallucination.

The accurate accusation against Dyson is that he is a hypocrite. And only a self-obsessed idiot would have pursued that libel action. Zero chance of winning the case.
