The poorest photoshop I've seen in ages. Was it the work of a 4-year old?

Rachel Reeves, the shadow chancellor, said: “The British public are understandably still angry that so much money from the public purse ended up with the friends and donors of the Tory party.”

She's not fkn wrong on that one.

Bernie Madoff wasn't offering returns like that either.

I'm not. Like flies on sh!t.

The statements from Farage and the party are fkn hilarious, if he thinks the vast majority of Reform supporters don't think like that, he is deluded, as well as an angry, vicious, embittered, lying, divisive, snaky old gammon.

Having lived, worked, built several successful  businesses, have family from Russian background, Ukrainian Patriots, Jewish, US, know the country from east/west-north/south, seen every development first hand in the last 30 years, I will say with a somewhat heavy heart that Farage’s comments carry a lot of truth.

I have 3 of my closest family fighting against Russia, numerous friends killed and injured, displaced, homes destroyed.

This should never of happened, it didn’t start with the Russian invasion, but many years before. The poor people of Ukraine have been abused and used for decades, they are the supreme fighting nation and they are being used, by the western powers.

The Tory laundrette:

Donor donates to the Tories.

Tories pay donor multi millions of taxpayer's money in contracts.

Donor donates a small percentage of that taxpayer's money back to the Tories.

Repeat ad infinitum

Russia have had Ukraine as a puppet state, like Belorus, for decades, funding and supporting very dodgy corrupt leaders so the rotten status quo, cold war type scenario carried on. The people of Ukraine saw a better way of life was possible and finally told the Russians to f off and had a revolution to turf the slags out. The dictator Putin didn't like this so invaded to force his rubbish way of life onto the Ukrainians.

In it's simplest terms Ukraine wanted to head west, Russia said no, you're staying east. Puppets and cowards like Farage are just repeating Putin's lies, similar to how Mosley and other scumbags across the world repeated Hitler's lies.

Never as simple as that……

My opinion of Russia/Putin is a mixture of anger and somewhat understanding.

Ukraine is a split nation, roughly ‘speaking ‘, there is the western area to the west of the Dnipro river who begin to speak Ukrainian and to the east who overwhelmingly speak Russian and have much Russian blood. I don’t speak about Crimea as that is more confused and complicated.

Of the so called elections I witnessed, it was always roughly 50/50 split, those who identified with Russia and those who wanted to be away from Russia and join the EU. The elections have always been completely corrupt and manipulated by Russia for the Party of Regions or Yulia’s/Yuchenko’s lot backed and controlled/ financed by secret western forces, some of which I would call good friends. They were mainly US agents of the Democratic Party.

The war physically kicked off on Maiden, you probably would have seen the demonstrations on your TV. I remember the first petrol bomb thrown, rebuffing Sky TV on the seriousness of the situation in a more than straight way only to be offered a reporting position in ‘ The’ Ukraine, which just goes to show how lightweight and uninformed the MSM is who educate the masses. …..The planning had been for many years. At this point there was very little inside knowledge and zero news coverage. The area that we covered in the Dnipro region, which is probably the most important city in Ukraine, considering it’s past and present industries, had almost zero western influence or visitors( you can research why)  but a total Russian speaking population. As you went further towards the Donbas and to the Azov Sea, it’s basically Russia within Ukraine.

It was  obvious to me from 25 years ago that this country was split and there was never a chance that Russia would let it go to the EU or join NATO and let their weapons come to its doorstep. Didn’t the US have similar strong feelings about Soviet weapons to Cuba?

I will clearly also say that Ukraine has more in common with Russia than the EU. They want EU riches but totally won’t except multiculturalism or any relationships that isn’t approved by their Christian church. Same as Russia/ Eastern Europe in general.

Putin talks about the Nazi’s of Ukraine, this is an exaggeration of the truth and a very long topic. This  goes way back pre WW2, involves the  Holodomor  genocide of 6 million + deaths , the Ukrainians who fought with the Germans against the Russians, and the hatred of Russians to this day.

i don’t believe Kyiv and the west of Ukraine will ever except any more rule by Russia. I don’t fully understand Crimea, although having spent many holidays there I don’t understand its makeup, the influence of the Muslim/Tartas. Etc etc
Now  Russia has ‘walked’ into Crimea, ( it will never release it militarily, it’s needs the access via the Black Sea to the Med.

The ****heads from both sides need to start the Jaw Jaw, (20 years overdue) no one’s going to win on the battlefield, it’s pure hell, evil by both sides. Whats the alternative, a world war to ‘ settle it’. Russia isn’t going to leave the Donbas, it’s as good as Russian and voted to be with them, also they are never going to allow NATO into Ukraine, the rest can be talked about.

Its difficult for me to criticise anything Ukrainian, we have been ‘fighting’ together for many years but truths need to be said.

Seeing the reform candidate call gay people nounces and the prime minister the P word I'm pleased more people who might vote for this party get to see what it really means. An englishman in Skye before the independence referendum said to me that people set out to vote for the more radical party wanting all the good sounding policies and ideas, but at the last minute there is a sudden panic. Fear over losing the status quo and what this choice might lead to and that fear causes them to vote as normal. I hope today helps people in that moment of choice not go to the far right.

Beginning to look like by Friday or Saturday next week our election will finish up like the US election 4 years ago with bad losers.

The Tories are now beginning to blame the media for their problems, I heard them today blaming lots of different things on the media including the printing of polls that are clearly manipulated.

Farage as we know when caught out, just like Trump says he was set up by an actor and he is 100% ( not even 99% ) certain. I suspect if he doesn’t win Clacton he will be encouraging people to protest and plead cheating via postal votes or something similar.

And it was a volunteer who was out leafletting, not a candidate.  Quite a difference there.

Can’t be bothered to look through the thread, so I can’t remember who was asking about possible upsets at good odds. Well here’s one ( and certain posters will hate it ) Independent in Birmingham Ladywood. The guy standing is all about a ceasefire in Gaza. He was 3rd in the West Midlands mayoral election. Labour currently have a 28,500 majority, but it’s beginning to look a bit close to call. Labours saving grace could be that a small part of the constituency has plenty from the LGBT community, which he doesn’t like, and he also made some degrading statements towards women, but definitely looks close.

Doesn’t like the LGBT community and has made some degrading statements towards women?  I look forward to the Channel 4 exposé with subsequent outrage in the media and on here.

As he stands for a ceasefire in Gaza I guess you won’t be sticking up for this guy like you are sticking up for the Reform guy.

Everyone looking forward to the unbiased Question Time debate tonight?  I’m sure Fiona will make sure that it doesn’t end up as a pile-on against Farage and that the audience will be completely impartial.  😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂

Fiona trying to carry out the hatchet job by herself without bothering to ask the audience for questions.  BBC impartiality at its best.
