It's always funny when you RWNJ's use selective quotes.

His quote wasn’t particularly long, but yes, I used the relevant parts of it to make the point, so what aspects of my selective quote do you find “funny” and how do they misrepresent what Tennant said about Badenoch?

And on the subject of selective quotes, letterboxes and watermelon smiles come to mind.

Postal vote received, completed, envelope closed, will be in the post by sundown. 😀

I was starting to wonder if it would arrive on time. Anyone know the rules on when they have to get to the returning officer?

Depends on how many different constituencies you’re planning to use a postal vote in!

Oddball who goes on about RWNJs celebrating RWNJs polling at over 1/5 of the population.

Go figure.

Just flicked over from the football to have a look at the Sunak/Starmer debate.  Mishal Husain attempting to intervene and just being ignored by both of them.  That and the constant noise from the predictable protesters outside render it unwatchable.  Back to the footie.

It’s so hot. I’m sweating like a Tory in Ladbrokes.

In 8 days, there may be a few Tories working in Ladbrokes.

Horsefly has a moniker that suits him to a tee. So do you, a load of Squit.

Seriously, Reform is sufficently dubious that it bothers me, a supposed 'Right Wing Nut Job' according to you.  And you think them getting 1 in 5 votes is something good. You're an absolute clown, and Daz and Horsefly really do show themselves to be every bit as fatuous as yourself by 'liking' what you have to say in response. Apparently they think Farage getting 1 in 5 votes is funny as well, the muppets.

Bore off, you absolutely moronic loser.

Stand by guys, the signs are clear. Expect a stream of personal messages laden with Fs and Cs any time soon.

I bet your students had a lot of Fs and Cs to throw around about you behind your back, if your branding of any sign of anyone not knowing something as 'ignorant' is anything to go by. You must have been a really poor teacher. Possibly the worst possible occupation for a know-it-all like yourself.

Hilariously, this practise was started by all of Squits buddies to pick the bits they wanted to answer. Now they whine that other people do it back at them.

I don't get what's wrong with them all. You'd think they'd be happy Labour were going to win an election. They're clearly frustrated about something .

I offered bully boy 3 bets, but he wouldn’t take them saying he doesn’t bet, now he starts a reply with the words I bet ?
I suppose however I shouldn’t in the current circumstances  bet as the gambling commission would have to investigate me as I have insider information that means I couldn’t lose.

I see another senior Tory tonight caught doing the same as the Labour guy, betting on himself to lose. I wonder if he will be suspended as quick as the Labour guy was - probably not lol.

Update - I may have to vote Tory to help keep our reform candidate out.

My God. Finally, some sense.

Edit: Your accusations of bullying at the end of a pile on against me on the back of me sticking up for someone else Horsefly was picking on is just beyond belief.

Oh look. After you were all so keen to pick a fight, everyone seems to have lost their appetite.

Why do you idiots insist on starting these things?

Apparently there is an election on soon.  Anyone got an opinion on what policies the candidates should propose?

Personally I'm keen to see some support for middle aged guys who have lost a sense of purpose and express frustration over it in inappropriate ways.

Should add to that support for people who are a bit chippy that their reputation is still only 865 after so many years...

(Watch your likes pile up now I've said that; you're welcome 😉 )

Edit: Now that will have created a dilemma for them. Do they all pile on the likes for you to undermine my original comment, or do they not pile on the likes in case I've manipulated them into liking more of your posts? Tricky...

Lots of them are still in touch, from all parts of the world. I'll ask them how bad I was 🤣🤣🤣

Personally I don’t see what the issue is with betting against yourself.  Clearly nothing to do with insider knowledge and just a way of softening the blow in the highly unlikely event he doesn’t win.  He was sacrificed because Starmer would have lost face otherwise.

While clearly not the same as using inside information to bet illegally on a guaranteed win, there is the potential issue that someone might reduce their efforts to win an election in order to win their bet. I very much doubt that is the case in the present examples (the amount of money bet would be a good indicator). However, you've got to wonder why any candidate would think it a good idea to lay a bet in the first place. Your criticism of Starmer is really quite silly. People like you would have been screaming "hypocrite" at the top of your voices if he had not disowned the candidate concerned.

Of course people would have labelled him a hypocrite, but that’s because of his pronouncement that any Labour candidate in similar circumstances would be out before their feet touched the ground.  He made a rod for his own back and had to act, even though the bloke had done nothing wrong.  Sacrificed to make Starmer look strong and decisive.

So basically you are saying he would have been wrong with whatever action he took. Cheers. 👍

Think that was Tyson Fury vs. Lee Swaby in one of the earliest fights in Fury's career.

The opinion poll that the Tories have been dreading

I'd be very happy with that, Tories in third and the two party stranglehold finally broken - although I'd still be worried whether this was going to be a single Parliament phenomenon or whether we would have managed to permanently bin our toxic two party system.
