Thanks, my son and stepson got booked on a special flight from Stanstead to Berlin, they got it for around £400 but they are literally overnight flights so it will be a day in Berlin, but the flight back will be straight to the airport after the game and away. I shall now be watching in England lol 

Stepson has a ticket as he has huge point numbers but son goes into the ballot ( I think it’s lunchtime ) but if as likely that fails he will be in the fanzone.

Shouldn’t even be a question, it was a penalty, I called it when it happened so wasn’t remotely surprised when it got given even with VAR intervention 

David Beckhams was also a red card, kick or attempt to kick an opponent the offence right in front of the ref’s nose, silly boy. I actually do think this was the catalyst for the career he had.

But who is kicking whom?🤩 Kane (who certainly wasn't prevented from playing the ball through fear of injury) kicks the ball and follows through to make contact with Dumfries's blocking boot.

Once Kane had played the ball the onus was on Dumfries to not kick Kane, had Dumfries poked it away and Kane had kicked him, it would have been a foul against Kane.  Other than the ‘it wouldn’t have been a foul in my day’ argument, I am not sure why it is so contentious.  Let’s be honest Koeman has ridden his luck in the past - and the Dutch got back in the game by being more aggressive, so being more physical makes these moments more likely to go against you.

BTW I love the Dutch, after the British sides they are my favourite European side.

That is nonsense. This is a question of split seconds and having to decide in an instant. You can't wait to see what the opponent will do.

That’s the same with plenty of tackles and if the opponent gets the ball first and you take the man instead It’s a foul. If it’s in the box it’s a penalty. I don’t think anyone’s arguing the defender wasn’t intending to get the ball, but he didn’t.

Indeed, although in this case it is not at all clear who kicked whom, or whether they both made contact simultaneously. And in this case Dumfries didn't stop Kane getting the shot away and didn't bring Kane down. It was gravity that did that. Just to finish, there seems still to be a misconception that only the player who doesn't get the ball can in these circumstances commit a foul. But if in getting the ball first - which Kane did, -you then connect with the other player that is also a foul.

I think that’s a generous interpretation, if the ball was on the ground and Kane just knicked it ahead of the defender and he got man instead it’s a penalty.

Kane gets the ball, defender doesn’t get close and just gets Kane. Anywhere else that’s a foul. Just because he’s shooting I don’t see the difference personally.

Maybe you couldn’t pick this up last night on the TV but Kane was everywhere, he pulled Van **** and the other guy everywhere, and then we get home to see people screaming for Kane to be dropped, the same Kane that is jointly leading the running for the golden boot. Brilliant decision last night though to bring Watkins on instead of Toney ( even though we wanted Toney on ), as their defenders ran out of steam and Watkins was the man to exploit in behind. No way could Watkins have done that for 90 minutes, and Toney would have played in front of their defenders.
We were going back out but the prices have gone ridiculous, my flight yesterday to Eindhoven was around £80 Saturday / Sunday £750, and to fly into anywhere near Berlin is around £1200. 
The likes of Scotty only have one more chance of predicting our downfall and let’s face it even a clock that doesn’t work is right 2 times a day. 

A mate I used to play cricket with many years ago posted the below on Facebook yesterday. Personally, I believe that in the circumstances his son and mates should be offered rearranged flights...

I think you eluded earlier on that a number of these players wouldn’t even be professional footballers had Southgate not changed everything. Most people see his tenure beginning with his become the men’s manager, but of course he served his apprenticeship with the under 21’s, with a few of this squad playing for him then. All the England teams from under 17 prepare the players purely for tournament football, with many such as Bellingham going under 17, 19 then 21.

The whole academy system was changed around him and his teams ideas.

We have in our team both the players of the year from the EPL and La Liga. We also have the golden shoe winner for Europe 23/24, yes an England player scored more than Haaland.
