He wasn't called the Ginger Pelé for nothing

Come on now Robert. You are well aware he was called that because:

1) He was ginger.

2) He was sh*t.

3) He starred in an erectile dysfunction advert.

Edit - I may have made up one of those three.

When Tierney was ruled out I thought there was only one serious replacement; surely it was Kenny's? But no, Clarke prefers someone who doesn't even have a club at present and only played a handful of games last season. What am I missing?

That's very unfair. IIRC he had no problems popping up unexpectedly in the box with potent consequences

The Doherty / Croft comparisons are also desperate anyway, typically during seasons where the club has significantly struggled or got relegated rather than finished in the playoffs.

You need to check both players careers post Norwich. To say they both bombed is an understatement.

The greatest thing Wagner done in his role as NCFC coach was to put Kenny at CB

Catalogue of refereeing errors now. Not helped by Hungary falling over every time there a strong breeze.

Not sensitive enough to tag you in a thread when Hungary start a league one player over Scottish Kenny McLean...

Yeah god knows what his point is this time. I've loved avoiding this place for the most part over pre season 😅

They both got lucky at Norwich basically (player of the seasons is funny). Not the most awful players wearing yellow but neither was missed once they left.

I used to get very sensitive over the lingerie section of my mum's Littlewoods catalogue.

Each to their own I guess.

Surely the greatest thing Wagner done was 'The Ride Of The Valkyries'....closely followed by 'Charlie don't Surf' and 'I love the smell of Napalm in the Morning'.....
