This one was a perfect example of where that feels utterly daft - keeper had a fairly easy save to make, the ‘deflection’ made it go to the opposite corner! Meanwhile, I’ve been quite impressed by the refs so far in not showing cards all over the place - that was until this game where there seems to have been several given for nothing. Clarke could have made earlier subs. Switzerland had their chances, but we couldn't put it in the net. Tiernay likely out of the tournament a big blow. Usually if it's just a deflection to a shot on target then it's given to the player who had the shot, but if it's an attempt to the play the ball then it's an own goal. Schar clearly swung his foot at the ball in an attempt to clear it, so it should be an own goal really.
