Why have they given that goal to McTominay? I know it was accidental but the Swiss defender basically kicked it into his own net.

It’s what they do these days - if the shot is on target, it doesn’t seem to matter how big the deflection is.  This one was a perfect example of where that feels utterly daft - keeper had a fairly easy save to make, the ‘deflection’ made it go to the opposite corner!

Meanwhile, I’ve been quite impressed by the refs so far in not showing cards all over the place - that was until this game where there seems to have been several given for nothing.

Scotland well worth the draw, probably should have gone for the win as Switzerland never looked like scoring again.

Fair result, but typical frustrating game of Scottish football when you need a result and you settle for the draw because theres still another game. Clarke could have made earlier subs. Switzerland had their chances, but we couldn't put it in the net. Tiernay likely out of the tournament a big blow.

Only Hungary eh, that's what we said about Morocco.

Usually if it's just a deflection to a shot on target then it's given to the player who had the shot, but if it's an attempt to the play the ball then it's an own goal. Schar clearly swung his foot at the ball in an attempt to clear it, so it should be an own goal really.

But obviously both players will be happy with it given to McTominay, and I doubt anyone else will really care.

Blimey, listening to the jocks banging on again they've moved on from a 0-0 win to a 1-1 win 👍

Joe Hart had a lot of praise for Angus. I guess they probably know eachother from their Man City days.

He deserved the praise, good game.

Swiss should have won that by a couple. They are still in the driving seat for second and are capable of beating Germany. Scotland may have to beat Hungary by at least two goals to have a chance of getting through if 4pts is par.

Four points has never not been enough in the Euros. If Scotland beat Hungary, they'll be through barring an unlikely set of results in the other groups.

The stadiums being used look pretty impressive don't they ?

I was thinking that. We'd struggle to match that sort of quality in England.

Shame the pitch seems to be falling apart.

Saw a great meme that said Southgate is the sort of person who sets his phone to battery save mode when it gets to 92%

Of course Harry Kane will score. What would we do without him.

That Denmark defence looks to be got at.
