Our Friend Mervyn

Recommended Posts

I'm not paying any attention to anything anyone who claims they have hardly missed a game at either Norwich or Ipswich says.

Do you have any examples of Mervyn writing letters to the paper when 1p5wich were sh!t? He had plenty of time to do it, it seems a shame not to let us know what his views were.

Binners, cheap season tickets and playing in a stadium only 2/3rds full until last season, Norwich expensive season tickets playing to full stadiums.

Clearly Essex and Mervyn do not understand the economics of supply and demand, but of course I guess they are the same person.

What caps it all is he complains about us distance supporters being allowed a season ticket but is happy for a binner supporter to have one, funny old world.

Perhaps Mervyn could write a letter in sympathy to the 750 season ticket holders who will have to move due to much needed ground improvements at Poorman Rd.

I would be interested to hear what "our Mervyn" has to say about Ippo not paying local businesses and St Johns Ambulance when they went bust?

Maybe now they are rolling in Premier League millions he could use his position to urge them to make those payments now, plus an appropriate level of compensation.

But given he used to park (abandon) his expensive piece of metal in woodland in Lakenham because he could not afford to pay for parking fees, I doubt it...............

Mervyn Lambert is offered up as a footballing guru?

By the way I've always been a fan of Man City, Liverpool , Chelsea and Leicester. I win the league each year.  You lot should listen to me .

I'm absolutely shocked that Essex had decided to utilise the quotes of a fake football fan.

That is a very good point.

Does they mean they're getting rid of the tree at last? Took them long enough

There you go. You say you want money in the Club yet you will knock a guy who buys £12,000 of season tickets for himself and his family each season albeit that unlike me he doesn't appear to be an NCFC shareholder perhaps on account of his split loyalty.

Oh look, you mention being a shareholder again too!

Is there no end to this? If you are a shareholder as you claim, did you direct any questions at the AGM with reference to your whingefest on here?

Absolutely non of my business but you don’t think he may put that through the company then ? I know several of the folk in the directors box do.

Well I suppose that explains why he cannot afford car parking charges.............

Can't be done can it - who do you cheer for when there is a derby?

The team that wins ( equal for a draw ). Never mind not been beaten for 15 years in the Derby, Mervyn has never lost !

How much does NCFC pay his company to operate the traffic control on Koblenz Avenue each season ? I bet that comes to more than twelve grand.

A typical Directors Box Customer. He was just about to enjoy his first old codgers discount then the attached happens.

Perhaps he is. As I stated in the OP he is now back in an onside position.

Couple of points,

How exactly is he " our friend " ?

What exactly does him being " onside " mean ?

Something tells me i will regret asking.

He should be the friend of those on here who crave contributions to gate money. He clearly makes more than most even if he is also a club contractor.

He is back onside in terms of drawing attention to NCFC's high charges to loyal supporters for watching football.

Ipswich will get plenty next season but everyone on here seems to be preoccupied with 750 Johhny come lately season ticket holders being displaced. The last time I went there I sat in the Cod Army section and watched them lose. Get a grip.
