Yup - did wonder if Rowe might be held back, but then if he can’t play for 90 min how do you know when to bring him on with playoffs a possibility?   Sainz making way for him seems fair enough

Not the team I was expecting but I think you have a good point

Byram not even in the Leeds squad. Archie Gray back at RB.

Piroe starts. Leeds going for it.

That's good - I thought Byram played well on Sunday.

Sainz has been one of the best performers of late. Probably one of biggest threats, and definitely one of the hardest workers.

Bizarre.
Sainz is more likely to come on as a sub and see the red mist having been dropped, than if he were to start.

Agreed - based on Rowes output last week - I'd much rather Sainz give 120% for 70 minutes hero or bust. He's such a pest it's beautiful to watch & he would for sure do the Leeds fans heads in.

I guess someone had to go if we wanted to put Barnes back into the team, which makes sense because we have no one else who can do what he does in terms of getting Sargent into the game.

Saimz has been one of the bright spots this season.  I don't know why he'd be benched

Because Rowe isn't fully fit and this means that we don't have to bring Fasshnact on for him, which is good because its like having 10 men.

And Leeds for the past 3 days will have been working on a strategy to kick Sainz out of the game. Now they've wasted their time and Sainz can come on against tired legs to win us the game.

Gray likes to get forward though and was wasted in midfiled. I think this will be a very different Leeds tonight.

Yes.. Sainz to come on say 60 mins against a tiriing defence. Whatever the state of the game, chasing, looking for winner or to put it to bed its a great option.

Says it all…

Yep when asked the question how will you approach the game he said ‘similar to Sat’ so don’t expect too much

I'm ok with the lineup, Sainz ebbs and flows and him as an impact player off the bench could be a difference maker.

I'm just hoping we actually try to score. We're not going to be dominating but we need to at least try and hit on the counter and not spend the entire game camping outside our own box hoping for penalties.

Similarly surprised to see Sainz not starting.

But, assuming Rowe is subbed after 60 minutes, that's means Sainz should comfortably last the final half hour and extra time, if required. Where Rowe might not.

Coverage of the Second Leg.

Constructive pundit criticism, overall about  66/33 in favour of Leeds

Jobi Macanuff, Paul Heckingbotham and some Leeds supporting idiot?

ABC - anyone but Chris

Wasn’t Eadie or Malky available??
