2 men arrested after game

Recommended Posts

I have to say I am lower Barclay and I heard no singing of songs like that during the game or after. In fact leaving the ground I was surprised at how subdued everything was. My immediate thoughts when I heard this on the way back were somehow I don’t believe it, after seeing the pictures I was very sceptical, and Leeds supporters being Leeds supporters, wouldn’t it have kicked of massive ?.

If it's the incident i witnessed several people ended up rolling around in the bushes behind the Snakepit. Any blood was from thorns/twigs. The rush to judgment on here is absolutely astonishing. Get a f*cking grip.

A twig? 🤣

They are super sharp this time of year. Get pushed in to one and anyone wearing a white T Shirt will regret it big time.

Yep, i used to be a paid gardener and falling on a sharp twig can easily cause such an injury. Really sorry to spoil your dopamine rush of moral righteousness. It's quite amusing though.

I like nostalgia as much as the next old fart, but let's not go back to the 70/80s for crying out loud. ☹️

Good job you never had an accident with shears or a lawnmower. Those bl00dy twigs hey!

Might be an idea to wait and see if this is true.

It is true unfortunately, I know a Norwich supporting witness.

That happened afterwards they were fighting the police, but the same people who were fighting the Leeds fans. Whether the can did it and not a blade , but the bloke was OK  , I don't know, but CCTV will pick it all up.

Hope whoever did this is banned for life from football and given a prison sentence, even if the Leeds fan did headbutt somebody (as somebody above claims).

Elland Road is now going to be a treacherous fixture for our own fans, I hope the police presence is boosted accordingly, even if Norwich City have to chip in towards costs.

Have a look at the picture. He didn’t catch himself on a rose thorn or twig. That said, as the sensible boys and girls have said let’s wait and see.

It was either a can or blade, the son says both , but it happened quick. The bloke was OK except obviously having a cut. It could of been alot worse.

Absolutely not the norm from City fans, if true it’s disgusting but more to this story, as there is with anything on social media these days.

That's why I don't think a blade was used , i know it looks bad , but it couldn't have been deep at all , as it was hardly bleeding.

Not really,  two groups were arguing and a small fight started , a can was involved, I believe the norwich lot walked away and started fighting the police,  only one winner there.

This is very disgusting. Standing up to be counted is one thing. But there were lots of children there today. yet again are reputation as a family community club is in tatters.

This. Duffy. And Webber was outside the ground after. So much for him being at death door. Like Borris.

It really does look like a slash though with the wound on the chin plus on the neck, I struggle to see how a drinks can could do that, unless it was torn open and used as a sharp bit of metal for slashing?

Everyone at the match should be a member of one of the Clubs involved.

You don’t need to be at the match to be outside afterwards though

People assuming this is true may want to wait for the facts. There was an altercation and a can was thrown causing that injury. No one was slashed and that guys “dad” who apparently had his throat cut head butted a lad shortly before hand.

Good to know!

Seen a thread on their forum about this and there’s a few knuckle draggers after retribution. Some Neanderthal called Jimmy is gonna spit at you so some sort of vaccination might be needed before you travel….

This is the problem, of all the clubs to do something like this against. Leeds isnt one. Full of pea brains waiting for an excuse!

Exactly. If what’s been said that’s happened has then the people involved will be dealt with by the law. What you don’t need is people going looking for retribution against innocent people going to watch a match. Unfortunately there are those that won’t see it that way

I talked to the bloke , he was OK, as I said it happened quick. Yes totally awful even if it was the can.

Eye witness and it wasn’t a thorn in the bushes as some cabbage speculated. Glad he was ok.
