I hope people don't get too excited we are looking at a real Madrid player. He has never played a game for them. Pretty sure we were more interested in a loan than a full deal but end of the day if he wants to stay in Spain that could be a factor. And he's young and all, Tenerife nights out every night with the lads vs Cromer or Yarmouth..

Loan with an obligation to buy is effectively a permanent deal.

But there’s no harm having a mix - we have been woeful utilising the loan market in recent seasons, but Doyle looks good and I’d happily have another similar PL loan if one was available.

As if La Tenerife (a 2nd division Spanish club) could afford €26m Reinier, either buying outright or even on loan? Any more than we could really afford that, given the guy seems to have lost his way, that would be a huge gamble.

Methinks yes, someone is trying to raise the price above our initial offer (I would imagine c.€5m) by such rumours.

A 2nd Division Spanish club on an island in the mid-Atlantic, no ambition there apart from tan topping.

That’s ok. Not saying I get in first with these posts. It’s been known Kamara and his agent have touted themselves since the beginning of preseason. Always expected to go. The unexpected bit was the transfer request.
