Birmingham predictions?

Recommended Posts

I predict a tough game with a hostile home atmosphere. If we can leave without any injuries and or red cards, I'd be happy with a point.

Not sure I can handle that. Might have to go for a walk!

If you offered me a draw with no injuries, I'd rip your hand off. That said, Hull are also away to a team fighting for their lives in Plymouth and we already know how well Plymouth can counter-attack.

Plymouth win there game and that's after an early lead, Birmingham's as a team just can hear the noises from the fans and end up loosing to us 0-2

I think we'll win.  Birmingham have to go for it, and with our ability to cut teams open on the counter attack, we'll end up winning fairly comfortably.  I'm going for a 4-1 Norwich win.

Gonna, be honest, I think we'll lose.

It's one of Birmingham's biggest games in years, whereas our priority is simply not picking up injuries, so I can see human instinct kicking in for both sides with Birmingham winning the physical battle and most of the 50-50s.

I'd be happy to avoid any injuries or suspensions, because I can't see the eight-goal swing realistically happening. We have a strong first XI but nothing beyond that, and any injury or suspension would have a huge impact on the playoffs.

Yes this. Though 4 - 1 might be a tad ambitious.

I see it like this too. The longer it goes at nil nil the more Birmingham will push forward and we play best on the counter imo.

Not sure about 4 - 1 though. I’ll go for a 2 - 0 win

Could be a very tricky atmosphere. First goal crucial, as ever. I can see a narrow defeat but I think Plymouth will beat Hull anyway.

Agree with that - All ears for Blues will be on events at Home Park as it’s out of their hands even if they win. If Argyle get an early goal it will dampen the atmosphere at St Andrews. For us it’s how much we’d rather have So’ton in the semis or who ever ends up 3rd.

While they need the points more than us, if we can’t beat a team in the bottom three then we don’t deserve a play off place. Definitely would prefer Southampton over Leeds or Binners in Semi final so we need to get 5th

I can see a 'smash an' grab' game.....We survive a continuous barrage of Brummy shots at Angus, coupled with dirty tricks an' gamesmanship by the desperate Bluenoses.....Then on the 94th minute Jo Jo Rowe bops an' weaves then drops his shoulder and slams in a last minute winner top corner sending the Brums daaarn!.....Cue a rapid mass exodus of the Canary support with their lightning departure through the exits - and off and away from Stadio Stan Drews before the Blues Ultra Masseeve know what's hit 'em!.....

Club Cabbage coaches are thumping down the A45 away from Brumland quicker than a speeding mullet....and being hotly pursued by an enraged Jasper Carrot aggressively waving an inflatable large carrot whilst sat astride his flagging Funky Moped....

Birmingham are where they are because all season they have been awful. There's no way a team like them will suddenly find the form to beat us. 3-0 to Norwich.....at least an SVH scoring off bench

I don't think the pressure will be good for Birmingham. Comfortable NCFC win ... in the end.

We do draw a lot against Birmingham so 2-2 for me.

Don't really care. It's more important we escape without further injuries or a red card. Don't think it makes much difference if we play Leeds or Southampton next.

It will be a tough physical game and Brum won't be taking any prisoners, and nor should they.

If we don't beat them but still finish in a play-off place, of course we will deserve to be there.

It's not just about this game.

Bearing in mind Sheffield Wednesday just tonked WBA 3-0 at Hillsborough last week, I wouldn't share that confidence.

Not all season. They were 6th when they sacked Eustace in October.

They'll need to rekindle that kind of form and may have some quality but they're a bit of a basket case now.
