Pyro Pete 2,353 Posted April 21 Weren't they suing them for the same thing at this time last year?
The Raptor 1,573 Posted April 21 Perhaps they should've looked after the player when they had him. Not put him on a cheap plane to save £59
Top corner 260 Posted April 21 (edited) Cardiff's behaviour since the horrific plane crash has been disgusting & lacks any kind of class. The poor family of the striker are watching on as Cardiff try & make money out of a families tragedy, Cardiff should pay the originally agreed transfer fee & move on. They really should hang their heads in shame. Edited April 21 by Top corner
Branston Pickle 4,149 Posted April 21 Utterly bizarre- how is it the fault of Nantes? Cardiff have behaved poorly over this , and look like a complete and utter bunch of a-holes.

Feels like a club thats just made stupid choice after stupid choice in the last decade or two. From moving out of Ninian Park which everyone knows other clubs hating playing against Cardiff at, from changing the colour of their kit to this embarrassing nonsense
Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man 4,615 Posted April 21 Is this actually true? No major news sources are reporting it. If it is true then it's ridiculous; the deal had been completed at least 36 hours before the plane crash, so why Cardiff are trying to put Nantes out of business is beyond me. Mr Angry 2,016 Posted April 21 Suing Nantes seems sick, but the flight was arranged by the agent representing Nantes in the deal, it wasn’t arranged by Cardiff.
chicken 3,084 Posted April 21 This carrying on as long and in the manner it is is disgusting. I would hope FIFA are at least trying to learn something from all this, and the PFA amongst others. The treatment of the player both in the lead up to the tragic accident and after, a good while after now, hasn't been good on anyone's part. Ensuring a reputable airline (big or small) is used should have been everyone's priority. Respecting the deceased's legacy should have been high up there too.
JonnyJonnyRowe 972 Posted April 21 This is in poor taste I feel. How about Watford sue Cardiff for £102m because in 2012/13 if Cardiff were playing in Wales in their own countries league then Watford would have won promotion to the Premier League. And Aston Villa should sue Cardiff for £102m because in 2017/18 if Cardiff were playing in Wales in their own countries league then Villa wouldn't have been beaten by Fulham in the play-off final, because Fulham would have been automatically promoted. We can all start spurious lawsuits can't we, I do hate the Americanisation of European culture where everybody wants to sue everybody for everything.
essex canary 622 Posted April 21 Perhaps we can sue Man City on the grounds that if it wasn't for their cheating we would have finished in the top 17 in 2014 and naturally we would then used that as a springboard to have lived happily ever after in the Premier League,? CardiffCanary 163 Posted April 22 It’s no surprise to me that no one in Cardiff really seems to support Cardiff, and even worse In the hinterlands no one is interested in Cardiff at all… completely different to us where our support comes from far and wide. Very strange strange club. Never forget when ched Evans scored that wonder goal against them in the last minute and we were all singing f?!&@3d by a Welshman, you’ve been f£&@3d by a wellllssshman!
