JJ2 - Will he sign

As things stand he isnt getting in the side - not even as a sub in a pointless end of season encounter!!

Do you guys think he will even want to sign under these circumstances??  He has already proven himself well capable in this division and will be looking for first XI action at his age.

IO would like to see him at the club - he has ability!!

Skilful and quick but we need a real presence up front if we are going to play the Worthy way, not sure we need another nippy forward need an old style centre forward.  JJ2 does not add anything to the squad, need a Steve Howard type to give us a presence.  Perhaps another freebe gem Peter Thorn anyone, stilll got another year of picking up a very good screw (one of Cardiffs big earners, now one of City''s).

The bloke looks a class act in this league, good touch,  pacey, excellent movement when played up front.  However we dont need to sign ay more strikers with the numbers we already have on the books.  If he signs it could only be on the back of selling Leon, which seems a bit unneccesary.

I would not buy him as a solution to the right midfield problem.

I must disagree with you Zipper, if we have to go down the Worthy route of hoofball, then we do need to sign at least one more striker.....................ie. a ten foot tall one!.

Surely he can do better than being in a team where he is either on the bench or playing wide right(-the latest striker there!). He is getting to the age where regular games are important, and he doesn''t fit the pattern of Worthington hoofball.

My biggest worry is that he is patently a class act - he could get 20 goals in this division easily.  He has barely played up front for us unyet has 3 goals already!!  He actually contributes to games also unlike Erny!! 

If we hadnt paid 3 million for Erny I have no doubt whom would be playing up front for us alongside Leon!!

I personally would like us to sign him.  He is a class above this division and he would be FREE (but big wages).

I do agree that JJ2 is a class act. I think he has great movement, is quick, not too cumbersome and knows where the net is.

I''m also of the opinion our first choice strike force is Earnie and McKenzie.

If the man will sign I say sign him and get rid of Thorne, who has been totally useless. IMO, JJ2 is the proper replacement for Svensson we need, and I think deserves a decent run up front besides Earnie in these final games to try and convince him to stay. IMO, I think a threesome of JJ2, Earnie and McKenzie will keep all three working hard for two places, and Worthy should use some sort of squad rotation system.

I think he''s a top quality player, but then so is Earnie, as was Ashton. The problem is, good players shouldn''t be here soely to try & win headers & nothing else. It''s gotta be depressing playing under Worthless!
